Reid: "At this stage, we're not able to make a counteroffer"

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid signaled today that "fiscal cliff" negotiations had stalled, saying, "At this stage, we're not able to make a counteroffer" to Republicans' latest proposal. He explained, "The Republican leader has shown absolutely good faith, it's just that we're apart on some pretty big issues."
