Why is it that there is no video released of adam lanza entering the sandy school if they had security cameras through out the building? I have done a lot of searching for pictures of any of the 4 lanza family members in the same photo. I have researched their ties to new hampshire where they are reportedly from. adam was supposedly born in a hospital where it is said his mother worked at. strange how they have ties to a town called newton n.h. not newtown ct. I do recall mr obama and a few others calling newtown newton. I found nancy lanza's brother on facebook. I was able to google map james house (adams uncle) and it sits right main rd. how come nobody has photo's of nancy lanza's gathering where her ashes were taken to? I have searched county vital court records in n.h. and ct. and come up empty on birth or death certificates, even tried probate on nancy lanza's property....nothing? did these people even know each other? Even there hometown news paper in n.h. had no obituary posted on them or in ct. Also how was a news helicopter over the school even before the police stormed the school? the school that was shown being stormed by police is another school in newtown just a very short distance away. 2 years ago the department of homeland security did a mock drill of a mass school shooting located in newtown. the very same school that you see video clips of being rushed by police. I wish 60 minutes would do a follow up story and investigate a little deeper. I have much more i dug up, to much to write. this story on the newtown shooting is so inconsistent. too many holes in it. I am not one of those you tube junkies, I did a lot of research and feel there is a lot more too newtown than we are being told. I believe America is being duped and lied to! Can anyone help me out in getting the truth out please.

This is a seemingly senseless tragedy; to all those parents who now support Senator Diane Feinstein's bill to ban assault weapons, you are doing something special for so many future children in our nation. You can be assured the country is watching. Today the stock market broke records, but comments failed to address the bill as a potential reason.
It most certainly was a reason. God Bless All Of You!

It is a very sad time...

Here in Palmetto, FL, about a year ago, we had a mass shooting disaster that never made the national news. It involved 2 AK47s and 24 people were hit. A total disaster, but for some reason, it wasn't in the national news.

We should talk about gun control but at the same time talk about protecting schools. You can't get rid of all the guns and you can't get rid of evil. Someone bent on hurting someone is going to do it one way or another. Yes we don't want to make it easy but let's protect the kids. In bad schools they do already put cops and armed guards and that has always helped in schools like in New York. Regardless, protect the children in anyway you can. Make a gate you have to go through to get into the school and have someone there to defend against evil. Those guards must be armed to work effectively. We should do whatever it takes to protect the most precious thing we have our children. Whatever it takes!!!

Is Adam Lanza the only member of this family with psychiatric problems? Here is a single mother of a mentally challenged son that is so concerned about her son's condition she is considering committing him to a psychiatric facility. Does it seem sane to expose him to these weapons and even take him to the shooting range to teach him to fire them. It's hard to believe this woman was teaching children in a public school! I think the problem goes a lot deeper then just Adam.

First of all, the media should learn their place. Whenever something tragic happens the media is all over it like flies on pig poop. How can the media take an incident so sad and flash it all over, not having all the facts and start slinging around comments like the shooter was autistic. Now, not only has the media not have all the facts, but now parents of autistic children have to be careful with their children if they take them out in public. Will someone shoot an autistic child because the media made it sound like autism had something to do with it? As a parent of an autistic child, that scares me.

These families are going through a tragic situation and should not be publized all over television like they were selling Christmas toys. These families have feelings and don't care about much except for their loss.

Parents of autistic children have now become angered by the comments made by the media about autism. So, now the families of the victims and the parents of autistic children have become victims of the media.

Why would someone be so cold to make it sound like the families aren't important but that the shooter is autistic.

This would be the ideal time for the school systems all over America teach cildren that autism is not a disease but that it is a world that most of us don't get to experience. If you are saying that I am crazy, do you have an autistic child or a relative that you deal with very very closely?

My hope would be that to make this a positive situation, make the schools teach the children about disabilities and autism and how these children need their peers to help protect them.

So there has been allot of debate about Gun Control and Mental illness and that is all well and good.

I have heard nothing about the fact that this so called "lock down" school with a security door had a plate glass window next to the door that the murderer simply shot and shattered and entered.

Maybe just maybe, had they thought about Prevention Security as opposed to Deterrent Security, he would not have gained access or at minimum it could have slowed him down enough for the Police to arrive.

No one is talking about this at all..

You need to talk to a psychiatrist. They can tell you that you should
not make important decisions while you are still in a disturbed
emotional state. When you have time to sort through and deal with the
feeling this particualar event triggered then you can start
considering talking about the real issues.
