Obama: We can solve "fiscal cliff" in a week - "It's not that tough"

In remarks delivered to the Business Roundtable, President Obama said that the world is "looking to America" to resolve the so-called "fiscal cliff" and chart a path forward for the global economy. He blamed Washington for the gridlock, arguing that despite a dispute over tax hikes, "The numbers, actually, aren't that far apart...we can probably solve this in about a week."
