Boehner taking "glass half full" approach to "fiscal cliff" talks

During his weekly press conference Wednesday, House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, rebuffed the idea that the GOP should go along with President Obama's plan to extend the Bush-era tax cuts for the middle class before addressing the rest of the nation's fiscal issues, but insisted he's still an "optimist" that a deal can be reached by the year's end deadline.
