This is why prosecutors should never bring a case to trial based soley on eyewitness testimony. Study after study has shown that eyewitness testimony can be very unreliable, and the risk is too great that an innocent man will be convicted. I'm glad that Frank was released. I do hope that he is compensated in some way, though no amount of money can replace the years lost while in prison.

I think susiembrown may very well be Jennie instead of just a "friend" If Jennie is out and about going to a "mall" like susiembrown claims then why wouldn't Jeanne be speaking up for herself....
Why did it take Jennie over 27 yrs to finally acknowledge that Mr. O'Connell spent 27 yrs in prison for a murder he did not commit?

susiembrown for being just a "friend" of Jeanne's you seem to have/know alot of first hand knowledge and yet you have the nerve to call out others who make very interesting and knowledgeable points....

susiembrown aka Jeanne's mouth piece if not Jeanne herself why don't you watch the video from 35 mins to 38:36! Jeanne is part of the still "active" murder case and still viewed as a suspect!

susiembrown when I read your comments in caps "yelling" it bring to mind a certain quote "The lady doth protest too much"

He should have taken the 1 million, because with the State being able to open the case at any time he can't win the 27 million case unless they find out more evidence. Why cant they find out if he owned a yellow pinto ever? You'd have paperwork somewhere, and if he didn't, then that witness is gone. Jenny should have been tried... She had to have known someone and had connections inside because I can't believe they have not done anything further with her. I hope they continue with this and they find out the whole strory.

The defendant already spent a full term in jail for the crime anyway. So what is left for him to serve even if he were to be sentenced in the future?!

The son was very smart as a child. The father is lucky to have a son that believed in him.

I don't think this man killed another man for the love of a woman.

I think the Police Departments in California are hiring friends of friends to become police officers. Birds of the same feather are flocking together. California and Texas has a lot of crooked police officers.

I don't think he had motive to commit murder at this time.

I did hear him say he did not know the woman was fighting for custody of her child, which is hard to believe.

For the reason the lady lost custody was not an embarrassing reason, so there was no reason for her to hide from anyone she lost custody of her child.

JEANNE WAS INTERVEIWED ABOUT THE SHOTTING AND OBVIOUSLY WAS INNOCENT OF IT OR DONT YOU THINK ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER WOULD HAVE SUMMONS HER TO COURT DURING THE TRAIL? THE FOCUS OF THIS TRIAL IS ON A MAN WHO WAS WRONGLY ACCUSED AND LOST 27 YEARS OF HIS LIFE. IT IS NOT FOCUSSED ON JEANNES LIFE OR HOW MANY TIMES SHE WAS MARRIED. THE SHOW WAS NOT ABOUT HER BUT HIM. SOMETIMES I WONDER ABOUT PEOPLE SUCH AS YOURSELF THAT MUST NOT HAVE A LIFE SO YOU MAKE DUMB COMMENTS WHEN YOU WERE NOT EVEN THERE AND DONT HAVE ALL THE FACTS. SORRY YOUR SO BORED.
