The super cartel has been taken down! Amazing! Now there's no more drugs in the world, and people don't have access to drugs or want to do drugs!

Wait. What? There is? They do?

What a waste of tax payer money the drug war is. My God!

The war on drugs can be won, but only if we truly want it to be won.
The government needs to capture a large load of coke, lace it with cyanide, tell the public, allow them to make the choice, give the users on trip to rehab and one trip only. Those who decide to keep using the drug will die of their own choice. No drug users no market, simple. Alas this won't happen due to the number of users in power and the bleeding hearts. Drastic times need drastic measures.

WOW, the war on drugs is a failure. The only reason why the drug cartels exist is because the government makes what they sell ILLEGAL. Please, anyone who supports the drug war should read about prohibition.

Great job ICE and also 60 Minutes. The skeptical need to understand that cartels are bought people with no integrity - do you know how many murders an average deal of $41M can buy? Do you know what kind of terrorism can breed from the drug cartels? Who controls the money and the source of the money wins... take them out.

These dorky ICE officers will never beat the cartels. People like cocaine and there isn't anything wrong with that. Legalize drugs, sovereignty of the mind is a civil rights issue.

it is a waste of US tax dollars to fight the war on drugs in foreign countries. We need to fight this war right here at home by reducing consumption. No matter how many drug cartels are killed, there are many others who are ready to take over and start even a bigger and more sophisticated operations, as long as there is a demand for it. This war on drug has NOT made even a small dent in the drugs coming in the US. So, a better option is use half of the money used to fight the war, and use it here at home (which will create thousands of US job) to educate people to reduce consumption.
The only other way to solve the drug problem is to make all drugs legal and tax them heavily. this way US govt. will make the money, and we may be ably to payoff our national debt in a year or so...............
