The rebels are terrorists working with al-qaeda. Even Wikipedia says Al-qaeda is with them!
So WHY are we helping support the SAME people who have attacked and probably KILLED some of our US soldiers?
The SAME people making roadside bombs and suicide bombs and killing innocent people?
Beheading people?
I'll support Bashar Al-Assad and spread information.
Maybe I can find a support/donation page for support of President Assad!
I was born, raised went to school in that city and have been regularly going back to visit, along with my young children, my last visit being in 2009. The report truly does not begin, and actually falls quite short in highlighting the history and the fabric makeup of the society that live and dwell in this most peaceful and historic city. The ravages that the current brutal regime has inflicted on the inhabitants, the infrasructure and most importantly on the recently restored historic landmark sites that adorn this magnificient ancient oasis were very scarsely coverred. This need to highlighted more so than ever. The Syrian people enduring this onslaught have developed tremendous resentment toward their arab, turkish as well as their israeli neighbors, the world powers and most importantly the UN for their utter failure in forging and enforcing a solution that is meant to stop this willful killing and destruction. It is going to take a generation or two of young Syrians (if they are not completely annihilated) to begin to build and recover from this relentless viscious violence that we are witnessing.
Blown away in the last 5 seconds.
60 minutes, your amazing!
