- The sad part about this, is I heard on 48 hours that this couple opted to sell the yacht on their own, without an agent of any kind. Realtors in my state, with such valuable property listed, go to great lengths to check buyers out ahead of time, so that they know who they are meeting and showing a listing to when an appointment is made. Also, they know whether the person is actually qualified to buy. In the past, there were too many thefts, burglaries and rapes in real estate transactions. Realtors would meet someone at a house and then become a victim. How ironic it is, that Tom's job had involved giving people a second chance and Deleon was in the episode of Power Rangers called Second Chance.

- This is what happens when people are too trusting. In this day and age you can never be sure and trust anybody because the world is full of plotters, schemers and scammers, even murderers (think Craigslist and this case) who are always thinking of ways to get your hard earned money or property if you let them. It is unfortunate that we have to live this way - to be suspicious of everyone's motive when we deal with them - but that's what has become of our world and we need to protect ourselves.
