I like Joe Biden and Leslie Stahl but I do not believe any Democrat anymore when it comes to our future-the trust is not here in my heart.I think our Patiotic forefathers had the grit it takes to fix our current problems but not our President and his band of merry men.Nothing has changed from G.W. to B.O. it is still nowhere we need to be only time will reveal will show us what Democrats served up.

Now this is a Man who truly is an Inspiration as a leader. You can see, although the path of politics is never straight forward, it is easy to read this man, Joe Biden as Honest and a life filled with the Integrity of character of Righteousness, which means right action. I for one american am feeling a little more assured that we as a Nation are returning to a path of correct Principle.
Good speed Vice-President Joe Bidden!

I agree with kanank comment below. Nixon and Agnew left office in disgrace, and rightly so, for transgressions of the law that do not come close to the constitutional and international agreement violations committed by Bush and Cheney. It is up to US, the American people to judge and punish our own, for the sake of our own self respect.

Biden, on the other hand, is a total breath of fresh air. Has nothing to do with politics, or, Republicans vs Democrats, etc. Has everything to do with the moral values displayed by each man mentioned in this comment.

I have great respect for Joe Biden. I don't think what people call gaffes are gaffes at all. I think they are the unvarnished truth, such as saying"there is a 30% chance that anything we do has a 30% chance of failure". That is the economic truth, folks. Took us a long time to get to this place. It was going on while people were being led down a path of silliness issues. That was deliberate, so you would be distracted

Did you ever hear the WWII song called "coming in on a wing and a prayer"? Well that is where we are so take a deep breath and hang on for a bumpy ride and quit being distracted by non-issues.

So, Joe, keep on exactly as you are.

Biden at his worst is better than Cheney at his best. Cheney is an evil of the worst kind and he is the worst vice president this country ever had , even worse than Agnews of the Nixon administration. Biden is a loose cannon and goofy but he is honest about the issues that affects average person in America. He is a simple man , sure sometimes he has whacky ideas on foreign policy but atleast he is not a torturer. he believes in the constitution and follows it in the strictest sense and appreciates international laws on treatment of detainees and believes in the Geneva conventions. Bush and Cheney have violated Geneva conventions and should be tried in the International courts of law and put behind bars for good.

I have liked Vice President Biden for his open an honest opinion. I do have a question for him though. My question is that I attended my City Council meeting and listened to a discussion about a street project to build new sidewalks. My understanding of that meeting was if our city, McCleary Washington, took the federal stimulus money for this project that over half of it would go to overseeing the construction of the project. I am very confused over this and my worry is that we are such a small city; if half of the project is going for paperwriting, inspections and the paper shuffle what is going on in the Big State, County and City projects.

Thank you for your honesty Vice President Biden.
