It was cool to see this 60 MInutes interview of Tiger at the TIger Woods Learning Center. Thanks for having this video here, I had not seen it yet on TV. TIger Woods is the greatest golfer since Jack Nicklaus, and I am sure he will continue on with his brilliant golf career with many more professional wins that will further show that he is the best of all time. After he breaks the records for most PGA Tournament Wins, and for most Major wins, I hope that the unfortunate mistakes that he admits to and the really mean spirited verbal and written slaughter by so many in the press and the many gossipers in the general public will become a distant memory. Maybe thats too much to ask, but I hope he and his wife can work things out based on the facts that only THEY really know. It's THEIR marriage and family, no one else. I agree with Jack Nicklaus who said its "none of my business. He will figure it out." Hopefully he is right too about our public being pretty forgiving at times.
Tiger is a really good and likable person and this interview shows a window into his personality and his many good qualities. I have many times in person and on TV followed his golf since he was a teen golfer here in Southern California. I even was lucky enough to be there when he won his 10th major at The Open at St. Andrews, Scotland. He is one of the best athletes EVER to watch do truly amazing, skillful and imaginative shots in his sport. After his break from tournament golf to take a time out and work on personal things, I hope he can come back to professional golf being the better person, father, and golfer that he wants to be. I would hope that the "pretty forgiving public" would focus more on the REAL important things in life and leave him and his wife Elin and their family alone! And to those paparazzi and tabloid buyers who are trying to follow him and Elin and the kids with their every move.... GET A LIFE!
