Andy Rooney is last ingredient of 60 minutes, without him something missing, he makes story of average person, mostly funny, I love the guy he has special place in our heart.

Well I hope this gets to you. The comment made about Andy Rooney is your opinion - and you are most certainly allowed that. To be honest, I feel not one way or the other about his part of 60 min - but I do feel it is natural and fitting as well as a tradition. Many things are thrown aside, but that doesnt mean they're replaced with something better. But as to the tone in your comment, it epitomizes a view that is shallow, beligerent and downright mean. Most likely, your fixation on efficiency and zero-loss leaves you scared of growing older and reaching a point where no one may listen to you. There is also the possibilty that you are reminded of someone through AR and that you have hostility that is expressed through scoffing. In any case, respect for the knowledge of elder NEVER gets obselete.

You just don't get it. A human being doesn't even BEGIN to get it until they are ready for a geriatric ward. I am one of those baby boomers. It's refreshing to hear an old coger cog on....Or how do you suggest 60 minutes end their program? A statement for Paris Hilton perhaps?

I hope this gets through to you. I have watched 60 minutes religiously every Sunday for decades. So, I am a big fan. But seriously you must get rid of Andy Rooney.. I have zero interest in watching an over-the-hill guy examine his paperclips. If you are concerned with ratings, I watch 60 minutes every week until Andy Rooney materializes at the end. If you are trying to appeal to the Baby-Boomers, having Andy Rooney and his geriatric obsessive compulsive hoarding issues on prime time, you have totally missed the mark. Enough already, the guy has saved enough paper clips and obsolete gear to retire?let him go in peace.
