?Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder.? ?George Washington

President Obama, You owe nothing to the manipulators who bought your way into office. Those people only used you! Americans do not want to use you. People have been using you and lying to you all your life.

You Have to Betray Them or Betray the U.S.A.! What?s Your Choice?

Look at the people of the United States. We are real! We are good people! We are intelligent and can think! The elitist mind is really small and weak! The elitist people are selfish and twisted. ?When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.? -Thomas Jefferson

President Obama, We are tired of receiving deceptive emails trying to sell us ObamaCare. We are tired of the Whitehouse trying to sell us health care reform. You know, I know and the American people know this is really about more government power and control. You do know it?s the other way around; ?We the People? control our government! Our biggest problem has become our government! Stop! Just stop all this nonsense! Do not treat U.S. like we are stupid, ignorant morons! Join U.S.! Do not Sell Out! ?We the People? of the U.S.A.! We Trusted You!

Our leaders have developed a ?spirit of insubordination? that has gotten way out of control! We no longer need employees working for us that practice malfeasance in office.

?We The People are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.? -Abraham Lincoln

We need laws stating that any Representative, Senator or President that has the audacity to sign any bill without reading it and fully understanding it should go immediately to jail. This complete lack of responsibility is a very serious issue! It?s totally scandalous, outrages and just plain wrong! It?s Criminal!

We Must Never Again Allow Our Leaders to Have Unaccountable Trust! EVER!!!

People are corruptible! We must always question and watch very closely everything they do! Our Freedom, Our beloved Constitution, Our National Sovereignty, ?We the People? and the fact that we are a Constitutional Republic is why the United States of America is the Greatest Nation in the World! Any bad truths about our Country are the slow results of the corruptible human nature of a few individuals! Power and wealth can corrupt a person if not kept in check! After we fix our current problems, and we will, we must put in play many more ?checks and balances?. We must figure out a way to completely take away the opportunity of corruption! Nothing personal - but ?We the People? must always come first and be protected!

?We can all commiserate forever about how bad things have been, are, and will continue to be. But I don?t think that we can afford to wait for elections in order to have our say about putting a stop to this madness. Enough, already! Let?s start talking treason, prison, and death penalties for all malefactors in government who subvert, ignore, skirt and otherwise trash the Constitution of these United States of America. Those who have sworn to uphold the Constitution and have then ignored their oaths of office are guilty of perjury and malfeasance in office.? -Stephen A. Langford (personal communication to this author)

Obama has a responsibility to the people of the United States to be our President, regardless of skin color, he is proving to be a racist. I am not suprised when he attended a racist church for 20 years. I am sick and tired of whites in America are made to answer for their ancestors actions in the past. It was not only the whites that were in the slave trade. Africans would kidnap, sell on the slave market, their own country men and women, to the highest bidder. I am also disappointed that Obama would go onto national television to make equally ignorant statements about health care from physicians in this country. We may be paying more money in this country for our health care, as compared to other countries, but who do the other countries come to for the highest health care, they come to America, because we have cutting edge technology. There is a cost of having the best of health care in the world. I'd rather spend money in my own country than to pay for airline tickets to travel to another country for "cheaper" care elsewhere.

a president and politician who has no airs about him. some may say he's unpresidential & amateurish but others may say he's just human, unpretentious and empathetic. regardless, being a lifelong cynic, he's the first politician and president whom i somehow am inclined to believe in and i want him to succeed for the sake of the country and the world.

The "Punch Drunk Comment" was out of line. Obviously Kroft did not like the comment Obama made about New Yorkers visiting Arkansas or North Dakota to gain perspective of how much money is reasonable. After visiting NY a few times, I think New Yorkers are in another world. Perhaps CBS should move to Arkansas to gain perspective. Regarding Obama smiling when discussing the big 3 and other times when he smiles. Watching him from the time of the debates, I have gotten used to "his personality" which invokes a smile when he is "thinking" about a response. I am used to it and welcome it. At least he is thinking and not squinting, smirking, and staring at the stars like the previous White House occupant.
I sure am glad we have a person representing the American People for a change and not just Wall Street, the Bankers, and Corporations. I pray this path we are on is successful and I think 60 minutes should do everything it can to promote confidence in this President. The media needs to bring back the same fundamentals it exercised during the FDR years, where they NEVER took a picture of FDR in leg braces or showed how handicapped he was. Seems the media was more in line with the well being of our country rather than ratings, Corporate Sponsors, and the Rich elite who have squandered the basic principles of our country for the sake of profit for themselves at the expense of the Average American. It is OK to criticize performance but not personal attacks like "Are you Punch Drunk"? Fortunately, this President came through a tough campaign and ignored the comment. However, Political Pundits like Rush Limbaugh will be playing it over and over and over with negative connotation. Bring back the Fairness Doctrine that Reagan revoked.

He has genuine human emotions. He laughs, he cries, etc. So he makes a joke, so what. you need that under pressure. Do people want a ROBOT for president, or an actor that makes jokes about missles in flight to russia, like reagan said... His cabinet is trying to get down to the root causes of the world financial crisis, and help fix the problem with limited resources..... You no who works with limited recources... U.S. Special Operations Forces...
Give him the time, and the help he needs to succeed.....I can,t believe people are already failing him without even starting .....

Look, give steve some credit here. Not everyone whose life is threatened is going to take heart with the laughter. In fact, I am going out on a limb here and say, most people when going through a very tough time do not appreciate laughter in the face of their issues. Punch drunk? Sure, why not. Because the economy is NOT funny in the least. At best president obama has poor affect. At worst he figures he's in 4 years, might as well laugh it up

I agree with jasemozarta. Laughter is a polite way to say, "Are you serious? Of course an issue(s) is/are of importance; however, I'll allow you to wear the rhetorical hat anyway."

I was very disappointed at Steve Kroft's comment to The President , "...are you punch drunk." Even for a reporter, that was a belligerent and unprofessional comment to make to The President of the United States. Are YOU serious!

The President spoke with substantive insight and a constant reality check. The American people haven't experienced that perspective for some time. Say about EIGHT YEARS.

Sadly, there are people who exist that will say stupid things when they don't have any substantive to add. Steve?
Don't expect common courtesy if you don't extend it.

American audiences should be easily capable of grasping Obama's humor. He merely laughed at "facing impossible odds with limited resources when most parties fundamentally disagree with the right solution to take." President Barack Obama expressed appropriate humor during various parts of his interview. At one, he described the difficulty in reconciling two opposing viewpoints who held contrary solutions to problems. On the one hand, you have banks who would prefer no restrictions or conditions to money as a solution to their large deficits, on the other, individuals who advocate solving the problem without using additional tax-payer money. It places top decision makers in an extraordinarily position of upsetting both parties in reaching any solution. The economy is such a monumental task, and it is vital that these economic issues be solved, but President Obama understands that on a fundamental level he will be called upon to make unpopular choices in the hopes that he can lead us towards a solution.

Jasemozarta, you're absolutely correct in your assessment.

I think we're blessed to have a President who is intelligent, candid and able to inform/ educate people of the US. I, firmly, believe that people do not understand the complexities of a good President because it's been hidden for the past 8 years. Everything before was simple; people that disagreed with President Bush were ridiculed and jokes of Bush's fodder. The news media were court jesters instead of real hard-nosed reporters and journalists. I tired of hearing them laugh at Bush's jokes as if he were Jay Leno.

God Bless President Obama and his beautiful family.
