We're all incoherent in the fact that we (Main St) lived high off the hog for a long time through Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme and huge interest rate (7%) pay-offs throughout the good years. S & Loan banks gave us only 2% while they made 20% off of legal betting (derivatives). Then it all collapsed as did the housing industry so how do you make money today? How about teaching, manufacturing and producing in the USA? Only problem is one has to bring down the prices of private schools, gas, housing, food, etc. Oh yes, give each CEO a maximum of $75000 a year. Is his-her job more important than that of a good teacher, or builder or actor-dancer? I don't think so. What has the CEO done except be good in dealing with or putting down other people? Why are CEOs sacred (i.e. well paid) and teachers considered to be less worthy than cleaning people? How did the USA get like this or was it always this way and I didn't notice?

The President is doing an amazing job. I believe, as do the majority of Americans, that he is on the right track, and is doing exactly what he promised in his campaign. I think this is what the republicans are so confused about because they in general say one thing and then do the opposite. What they try to ignore and deny is that their party created this mess with their deregulation strategy and now critize the President for implementing his strategy. It amazes me every time I hear them chant "the majority of Americans are against one of his positions. We, the poor and middle class, the Majority, voted for Obama. He speaks for us not them. I, for one, will give the President all the time he needs to get this economy up and running because I know, and this interview reinforces my thinking, that he has not forgotten about us, like the republicans have.
This interview was the most revealing yet about him, his family and his true, genuine feelings about helping us. What more could we ask for in a President. The rest of the world sees this as well. That's why the whole world is looking to him for solutions.

An inspiring interview, Barack is confident we have not had apresident in recent times that have spoken with such confidence and hope. I know he will do a good job he needs time. His critics are hard on him however,he is doing the job his way, the change that Washington needs, We and I speak for a number of persons, he will not fail and we wont allow him to fail regardless of the Republican's efforts to undermine his good efforts. He is relating to the people who voted for him and attracting more with the everyday presence in the media. He is a different kind of President, not stuffy like the past President, just real. We love him.

What, 60 days as president & the greatest economic crisis since 1873 isn't solve?
The whole point of the republican party since the cold war ended was to
"drown the beast" with the beast being BIG GOVERNMENT. Well, they certainly
did their job to the max. They took the entire economy plus the global economy
with them. I guess they could say with great pride "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"!!!!!
They left our first black president with no options for the economy or for Iraq.
You almost have to admire the biggest bunch of traitors & most treacherous
fanatics in our countries history.

Thanks very much to 60 Minutes for this most recent interview with President Obama, and all of the earlier interviews with him both as president and as president-elect. And, thanks for making them all available online. I have found this interview, as well as ALL of the previous interviews to be very calming and reassuring, at a time when both seem in short supply. I am so very thankful we have someone with the leadership skills, the intelligence, and the humanity of Barack Obama as our president at this time, a time of crisis for our nation, and a time of great difficulty for many Americans. It makes me all the more grateful for the opportunity I took to support him all throughout the primaries and the election in '07 and '08. May God bless this great nation and its people.

Thanks, my electric went out and I couldn't record the show while I wasout. Glad to know I can still see it online. I am so happy to have this man as my President, he is so intelligent, and I trust him completely with my country. Might sound corny but I had to live with GW Bush for 8 years. And so did you! Things are definately lookin up!!

The playing field is uneven. President Obama is facing opposition from all directions yet he still manages to remain calm and cool and he actually answers every question without hesitation. It is a nice CHANGE to see a president who isn't afraid to speak to the people about what is actually going on. He needs the support of congress; he has the support of the people. Imagine what he could do if Washington would stop opposing him and embraced some of his politics. My feeling is they supported our previous president for self interests...support this one for PUBLIC INTERESTS. He is a man for the people, a public servant...when will congress get that same attitude?

In our daily life,we make decisions that affect only a few or maybe only one person. We do not see immediate results, How can we then expect this (all be it special) man whose decisions affect the entire world, to clean up a mess that has taken many people, many years to accomplish? Rember that scribe of business that says,"You have to spend money to make money"; Does it not fit ? Isn't the principle the same? When we(main street) can solve our problems in a BLINK, yhen we should judge Pres. Obama by that same standard!!!
