In my opinion , Ann Miller should've gotten a much stiffer punishment for the murder of Eric Miller and should have been tried for the death of Derrill. She is a cold-blooded black widow and someday will have to look her daughter Clare in the face and tell her why she killed her Daddy. Then and only then will justice be served at least until she meets her maker.

Would it be possible to try Ann Miller in the suicide case of Derril Willard? Or was he a co-conspirator in Eric Miller's death? Does it even matter because Derril is dead? Keep in mind that a neighbor across the street from Ann Miller took a sandwich to her husband in jail who died right after eating it. This was during the same period, the summer of 2000, when Eric died as well. Morgan said the man in prison was already doomed because of "clogged arteries" from years of drug abuse. Is it possible Morgan didn't want to confuse any other murderers with Ann Miller because it may have raised reasonable doubt in Ann Miller's case? Was an autopsy performed on this jail bird to see if there was any arsenic poisining in him who may have been better off dead so Ann's neighbor could collect a life insurance policy? Think about it. Then after you answer that, try and answer why the parachute didn't open when a prior boyfriend of Ann's went sky diving in front of her and hit the ground without the chute opening-thump!!! And you thought arsenic poisining was a bad way to die?

4 dead men surrounding this woman's life? Where's the rocket scientist and brain surgeon, because I think we need them now!

The only other reason that I can come up with for her actions is Ann Miller is mentally ill and her attorney's and the court should have taken this into consideration in her defense. Or would she have spent the rest of her life in a mental institution?

Ann was a great actress, whose chameleon-like ways almost allowed her to get away with a awkward but perfect murder. She didn't even have a good motive, as Eric was a perfect
father and husband. His only mistake may have to allow his wife to work in an close environment with men where she would certainly be a distraction. She thought she had the perfect patsy with one of her co-worker males, but he was being used to. Her selfish actions cost the life of Eric plus her make believe lover who took his own life after finding out that he had been played like a fiddle by Ann Miller.

The fact that she only got 25 years is another tragedy in this case. The sight of her laughing at one of her court appearances shows what a selfish sociopath she was. Someone asked why Eric drank the beer that he thought tasted strange. The beer was not poisoned, Ann
had poisioned him earlier and cleverly allowed for the time delay, when he would drink
beer at the bowling alley where she had planted her lover, figuring that he would then take the blame if the case went criminal.

Why did Ann decide to kill Eric, he was just too structured for her. She loved all the attention she got from men,and would get from men no matter where she worked. It is only too bad that Eric hadn't become aware of all the phone calls and the guy she was setting up to take the fall. But, as women are natural actresses, plus add the nuance of a woman putting on additional acting and it was impossible for him to tell that she was up to no good, especially when she left for a sex tryst at a fancy hotel in Chicago a week before he died.
In the end, the years that she was on the run, or tried to recreate herself 120 miles away only make her eventual out date from prison 7 years longer than it would have been.

Enjoy your stay in the roach infested womens prison in Raleigh, Ann.

CBS fails to explain why Ann changed her heart. Eric looks a very handsome and successful man, why did Ann stop loving him? Is it because she simply found him boring after many years' marriage and she needed a new adventure. Could anybody give me a hint? -- Cameron, Daytona, FL

I ask the same question as the godsfiddler. We all must embrace due dilligence. Money, food, love, and death; each require as much focus as we humans are able to mount. For a few, it is too much to do.

She'll just kill again after she gets out. 60 year old women can and do kill people at times.

She should have gotten the death penalty, regardless. NC does have a death penalty.

Darrell's poor wife and child as well. Two children whose lives have been torn apart now, for no good reason.

What I don't understand is why a chemist, when he thought something didn't taste right, that something was wrong with the beer, continued to drink it.
