Unbelievable coolness and this crew and airline have captured the imagination and respect of the world. Where ever I am going, if US Airways flies there, thats who I would rather choose. Safety over frills for me.

That was a great show, I never watched 60 Minuites from begining to end. You need to upgrade your system, to watch full screen. Adobe upgraded to flah player 10. There is no longer adobe 9.

America needed good news, indeed, the whole world did. The skillful pilot provided the opportunity, and the crew and passengers responded admirably to implement the ''plan''. Let this be a lesson.
The interview was too short, but the questions were golden: Just what the public was wondering. I''m sure the FAA ''interview'' was more difficult, but this one was perfect (answers too) to allow passengers, crew, captain, rescuers, and public to continue to celebrate this piece of aviation History.

Capt. Sullenberger represents what this country needs to get back to. Greatness accompanied by humility.

The Flight 1549 interview was great. I tend toward depression and self butt kicking, feel stuck often. Watching this evokes inspiration, reminders that we all have had our moments where we actually did good things which effected outcomes. Cool.
And Coldplay was great too. Think I''ll dust the cobwebs off the studio. Katie....marry me.

I am tired of peoples critisism. Katie was only doing her job. The FAA and US Airways were in controll of the questions. They dictated what was to be asked and the crew was instructed on the correct responses to those questions. Give her a break. I have always had the utmost respect for inflight crews. People think they are just glorified waitresses and waiters. How does everyone feel about them now? Think it''s all COFFEE, TEA, CRACKERS?? When I went to training in Charlotte, I saw first hand what they go through for training, it is intense and serious. My hats off to ALL IN-FLIGHT personell. Thank you!!!

Capt. Skiles never said ONE WORD. He has been ignored in all of this. Why? His wife was not allowed to complete the thought of what happened, after she got the girls and together the realized what fully had happened.

US Air has fired Sully according to all reports. Is this a FAA rule or just a way US Air can discipline someone who "actually saved them millions" in legal fees/death benefits.

Not sure why so many think the questions were lame....
I thought the interview was well done.
Out of curiosity... just what would some of you asked that Katie didn''t?

I dont like that Dorren is soooo bitter. She doesnt even seem like she is happy that she did survive this incident. Yes Katie needs to go. There could have been better questions then the ones she asked.

I admire the pilot. He is a hero.

The presenter compared this one with the Ethiopian flight accident which happened several years ago. She is right many of the passengers were killed in that accident but the situation was different. That plane was hijacked and run out fuel at some point. The hijackers were right behind the captain ordering him not to do what he was trying to do. He and his co-pilot wasn''t doing their job freely and with full concentration. He and a handful of people survived that accident.

I agree with Stemcell4all, Katie Couric is awful in this segment, 3rd graders could ask more insightful questions. She should be permanently replaced with Laura Logan.

60minutes, save yourself some money and drop Couric from your payroll.

Very hard to watch this document... too many tears in my eyes. If New York City needed something to get out of 9-11, this is it... and I''m Canadian ! One of the best feel-good story (event) in North America''s history. Amazing.
