Friend bhuddaflii...

Beings as your comment clearly indicates that you are likely 13 years old and have had no experience at being "American" due to your age...

I would like to point out that you might want to consider are times that the Federal Government has a bigger view than either you or I can possibly have.

There are many small banks across America that have taken their TARP payments, and invested the millions of dollars back into their own local communities. This allows normal American people to buy cars, houses, and improve their lives.

Just because you have not instantly doubled your paycheck, or received some thousands of dollars worth of -free- money from the Federal Government, does not mean that your lack of instant financial gratification does not mean that all Americans are silly by supporting the Federal Government.

Best Regards,

WC

I don''t care much whether Democrats and Republicans like each other, and I don''t care whether a bill has bipartisan support or not. It would be better if they liked each other, better if a bill has bipartisan support, but it is not essential. What is essential is that the country''s work get done. As the economy gets worse, and as in D.C. it looks as if the gamesmanship continues, I think that the work isn''t being done. I want the Stimulus Bill passed even if it isn''t perfect. If it is not passed and the economy sinks any more, it will be on the Republicans, and it will be remembered come the next election.

Daschle did get a raw deal. The real disgrace is Obama''s lack of courage in defending Daschle.
Senator Conrad explained the situation extremely well.
Dasche''s and his partner''s tax errors are extremely common.
The tax horrors of Geithner and Daschle are classic lessons for ALL tax professionals.
Non cash compensation reporting errors and incorrect self employment tax computations are your classic tax trap horror show.

tax cuts have not worked in the last 8yrs & will not stimulate the economy. you need to eject money and spending to create jobs and people can pay their bills.
small business do not pay enough to substain a family & they do not hire. folks want to do other jobs other than service. the republicans and bush shipped all our jobs overseas.
the republican need to realize "regan" is dead and so is that era and those times will never come back these are different cirumstances.

The specifics of the Stimulus Bill are not clear.
Just how much be being spent on
Transportation
Public Works Projects
and other core improvements to the nation''s infrastructure?
Just what are the goals. As to capital spending in the education, just what are the priorities?
The lack of clarity of goals seems to be a receipe for disaster.
