My heart goes out to all the families in this well presented well produced story. Mr Riskin was true I would dig her up and shoot her again.

Sonia is evil. Her nephew most likely knew that his dad killed Sonia`s husband or (s). Sonia deserved what she got. Why waste resources trying to solve Sonia`s murder. There are other cold cases that need the time and attention. Sonia is a waste of space.
On another note, I am surprised to see so many personal stories about Phillipino people and their kindness of heart. Sonia regardless of her race is despicable.

I was married to a japanese man it was love that turns us to marry 18 years ago,he is not a wealthy japanese, but after 6 or seven years our relationship turned sour and I did my best to save it but it didnt work out we have children together and I want to have them but sadly I failed,he did tortured my feelings for saying bad things and took everything to me that I ended up nothing!Although I want to seek revenge,it never came to my mind to kill my husband or even harm him, because I knew that in the end I will be caught and our children will end up without a parents because I will be jailled for the rest of my life, what I did was I stood up,work hard and Little that I knew, time passes me by and time also heals by the grace of our lord, now my kids had grown up and we often see each other atleast 2 times a month,as I look back to remember my past,I realized that revenge or greed wont be the best solution to be equal to someone who did wrong to you, most esp.to sonias husbands who I can see did not do anything bad to her,her second husband revaeled good heart and did not deserved to die the horrible way and even to die outside you own land is way to much for him,and in the same way sonia also died,I can say an eye for an eye! I dont understand her greed and love of money after all she had everything and old and alone! I just hope not everyone look at us filipinos in the same way they see sonia! That is all!

So sad. Glad for Bourdeau family that their brother/son's remains have been located and returned to the US. I hope Riskin family find their brother/son's remains so that he can be reunited with his family and put to rest. It's difficult to comprehend the evilness involved in this case. These men served our Country and didn't deserve to die this way. Thoughts and prayers are with their families.

I am filipina too but I don't have heart like "Evil Sonia"....I am married to American and He loves my children from my first marriage, loving him and his children is the only thing he ask for...I had a failed marriage and I didn't ask anything from my ex husband when we separated. He is the evil in this case. I start from nothing again until I met my husband.. All I can say is I guess Sonia is only after the money ,she never loved her husband..Such an evil that can kill or can ask someone to kill husband..She should be thankful that she met her either of her husband that changed her life..I am so blessed I met my husband that changed my life and my kids life..And in return I will be here to love him, his kids and my kids for the rest of my life...Not all filipina are the same!

UPDATE: They convicted Delacruz and his buddy Romero for 1st degree murder of Sonia Rayos. 26 years to life. Phillipines embassy sent note that the Manila police believed Sonia the perpetrator of the murders of both Bordeau and Riskin.

Wow, what a story! How rewarding for the reporter to step outside of himself as the narrator/investigator and proactively become negotiator to a seemingly impossible feat. It's exciting. Honestly, I wondered if Sonia was trying to set-up a fake hit on herself; thereby drawing attention from her as a suspect. Crazy twist to it all...incredible.

I am a filipina, a teacher, who is happily married to a very kindhearted Canadian guy. We both belong to the same Christian belief, as well as our individual families.. Its so heartening to know that a fellow filipina had done this to the two good men who have loved her for many years just because of greed for money. My heart goes to those families who have lost a brother, and a son. I hope and pray that Larry`s remains be returned to his dad, and sister, and that they may find peace and comfort as they move forward..

Heart felt condelences to the families of Mr. Bourdeau and Mr. Riskin. May these men rest in peace. There is a saying "God never gives us more then we can bear", he know how strong these famailies are an their loved ones are with you all always. I do hope the Riskin family can find some way of obtaining their sons remains. Talk to The Evil Witch family, they definately knows something.

I wanted to confirm for the individual concerned as to whether this woman's actions will taint others view of the filipino people. I myself would never submit to stereotyping of an individual based on the behavior of this sociopathic person. I think that it would be ignorant (not to mention a mistake) for anyone to do so.
