Thank you for reporting this more fairly than I have ever seen in American mass media. Until people here and understand BOTH sides of the issue, it cannot be resolved. We should awknowledge that there has been wrong doing on both sides as well, but at the same time let a lot of the old hatred and resentment live in the past.

Thank you CBS for covering the situation in Palestine in such depth on 60min. Bob Simon did wonderful work. I value quality news coverage in these uncertain times and I look forward to more great reporting in the future.

I was surprised by the fair reporting 60 Minutes undertook in this feature. It is very important that we Americans get the true picture of this tragedy. What adds to the tragedy is the fact that Jews were horribly persecuted and murdered, forced to live in ghettoes and killed in concentration camps. To see them persecute another people is heartbreaking. I commend CBS and 60 minutes for the honest reporting on this and the segment about Gaza. Until we see both sides we cannot analyze either.

I commend Bob Simon on his reporting of the issues in Palestine and Isreal. It is very difficult for any reporters these days to report anythign on Isreal that is negative without getting bashed, having their statiosn threatened with less sponsorship and of course being accused of "anti-semitism".
First of all the Palestinians DID NOT dance int he street after 9/11, that was footage form several years earlier taken by a Spanish reporter who was horrified that his footage would be used in such a racist and defamitory way. What is happening in Isreal is plain and simple an ethnic cleansing of the indiginous people of Palestine. The human rights violations are horrendous. No freedoms have been granted to Palestinians since the Zionist doctine has been implemented. No right to trial, no water rights, no human rights. Massacering over 1,000 people, injuring close to 5,000 people, not allowing humanitaian aid or medical aid in is criminal. Why won''t Isreal allow reporters to come in and report on what is happening? It''s obvious, war crimes are taking palce and they don''t want the world to see it. Phosphourous bombs!!! Every country in the world (except the US, due to AIPAC) as well as the Red Cross has called what is happening in Isreal a war crime. Wake up America, this is not in our interest!!!

Why the hell can''t the US build a wall like this on all or most of the Mexican border. Towers are a good way to see lawbreakers. The crisis of gangs controlling Mexican border cities will eventually or has spilled over to American border cities. We really do not want daily kidnappings, murders, gunfights in American neighborhoods. Sure, I do feel sorry about innocent Mexicans getting killed but if they can cross over the border illegally, so can the bad guys. I bet that those American border people who are helping the illegals are unknowingly helping murderous gangs into the US. They have to stop their actions immediately because rules are rules. Also... *** bureaucracy!! Just build a wall, solve the illegal immigration issue, and get rid of part in the Constitution that says anyone born in the US is automatically a citizen to making it so that at least one parent or both is a US citizen for the baby to become a citizen. Also, the illegal Mexican-Americans need to stop criss-crossing from one country to the other to find AMERICAN jobs because not only are they creating resentment from Americans, they are creating resentment among Mexicans that stayed in Mexico. Sucks for them eh...
