- I followed this case closely, as I lived and still live in northern Nevada, and this story was huge. There was plenty of motive for Higgs to have killed Augustine. The whole thing would be hilarious if it weren't so horrible and tragic for the Augustine/Alfano families. I mean, there isn't ANYBODY who doesn't LOOK more guilty, ACT more guilty than Chaz Higgs. It's absolutely laughable to watch him with his deer-in-the-headlights look on this show. And yes, his remark to nurse Kim Ramey about Darren Mack being stupid for stabbing his wife to death is truly one of the great "pot-meet-kettle" statements. It makes total sense he would kill his wife because he hated her. Perhaps unconsciously he wanted to be caught.

- If you were planning on killing your wife, you would not make the comment about "hitting them with a little sux" the day before killing her. No one would be that stupid!! I think the husband is innocent! Where is the motive???

- He did it, no doubt, the evidence points right to him, you can try with the political twist, but it is not like she was the president of the united states, come on!

- It was definitely not her husband in my opinion.

- When he explains that he didn''t kill his wife because he would never kill anybody, how about because he loves his wife? He has no meaningful emotion.
