What in the world is 60 minutes thinking? We''re in the 21st century! We do not want to hear about oil anymore, except to hear that oil is the ancient fuel of the past.Green energy is the future and with so many

alternative fuels, 60 minutes could inform so many, and

help aid our green future. Why not do an entire show

on green alternative fuel/energy?! With Cancer surpassing heart disease in a few years, and millions of children with Asthma, it''s time to GO GREENER! Lets stop pumping CO2 into our air!

Someone here told about gas at $1.4 per galon (more or less 4 liters), well i live in Portugal and a liter, yes a liter not a galon. of gas here costs about 2 USD. Why? Well taxes are bout 65% of the price this way people buy smaller cars, or hybrids. maybe if you have such a expensive gas you would go green much faster.
Cheers

Why didn''t Leslie Stahl ask the Saudis what they think about global warming? Do they think we can live on earth if we burn all that oil they claim to have access to? Are they working on carbon sequestration perhaps? I can''t believe that these types of question were not even asked, they were probably either left on the cutting room floor or it was agreed that they would not be asked. If the Saudis are so smart (and they are) then they know that global warming is a MUCH bigger problem than finding alternatives to oil. All the interview did was repeat the myth that we cannot kick the oil habit. A few plattitudes about the environment, but the really important questions were left unasked. True corporate "journalism" at its finest. Bring on the bread and circus.

See 18:00 minute segment. The technology here is extremely impressive and somewhat frightening. Is ARMCO capable of exporting this technology to the "dried up" oil fields in the United States and squeeze out the remaining 60%?

I just paid $1.67 per gallon for gas. The Republicans told us this would only happen if we drilled in ANWAR and all other domestic sources...NOT TRUE. We need to reduce our demand. Go Green. Let the Saudis can eat their oil. We are not afraid.
