This guy brings tears to my eyes as a seemingly humble, but highly accomplished man! How many other athletes are like this. They could do so much good with their talent and power. I hope Mr. Phelps continues to be the way he is and stays untarnished. He is wise beyond his years and showing it by how he conducts himself and is already about helping others. And he is an animal lover too! Hats off to his mom for raising a goodhearted son and more power to her for doing it, as usual, without the sperm donor''s assist. You, Mr. Phelps are so inspiring to all of us, but mostly all kids worldwide who are watching your every step and ways. I ask you what have all the past swimmers, Olympic winners, done to better humankind??

Honestly it wasnt a fair race. And not because it is Michael Phelps... Swimming underwater dolphin kick is the fastest way to move through the water. It is why he does it off each turn and start. Anderson Cooper never had a chance! Too bad he set the rules :)

Phelps wasn''t doing any stroke he was just doing a butterfly kick under water which is used during the butterfly stroke but without arms and Anderson Cooper was using freestyle stroke.

Awesome! Phelps is so humble. It''s refreshing. Anderson Cooper was the perfect interviewer for Phelps.

Terrific profile! Michael Phelps accomplished an astounding achievement, and I''m happy he allowed 60 Minutes a behind-the-scenes look at the his reaction and others'' reaction.
