I tried to email to the Editor of 60 minutes but couldn't get through.J just wanted to let you know that I am starting an internet campaign to fire Steve Kroft. Just watched his interview with President Obama. I thought it was abominable. EVERY SINGLE QUESTION or comment from Mr. Kroft was NEGATIVE and demeaning to the President. S.K.kept spouting Tea Party incentive for the whole 30 minutes of the interview. During this time he has NOT had A SINGLE even remotely POSITIVE COMMENT about the Obama presidency. I always thought (and I am watching this program since its inception) that 60 minutes was a serious news organization, but tonight's interview was a cheap hack job. Same as the President is responsible for his government, the Editor of this show is responsible for having a right wing influenced newsman. SHAME!

Mr. President - I want to first thank you for your time that you have shared with the American people. As an OIF veteran, I want to make America a home worth fighting for, just as our founders had intended.

I am thankful for the increase in the VA budget. Many soldiers are still in need of PTSD assistance and other war injury care. This funding is whole-heartedly appreciated. Even though the American people may not always see eye to eye, I wish to thank you for your perseverance while under criticism.

With any health care change in the future, the funding of such will need to be there. Mr. President, you spoke of the War on Drugs failing, and more spending towards education was in order. Unfortunately the spending does not reflect that. Hundreds of thousands are still being put into prison, with violent criminals, and reducing their chances of being reintegrated into society. This leaves them on welfare, creating a leech effect. The charges on simple possession still sit at an all time high, no pun intended. Where is the change in this area? Drug testing is a violation of privacy, and is not relevant in many jobs. Moving into this new decade, it is obvious that change is necessary.

With importation at another all time high, the American markets are shrinking. Foreign steel and consumables plague our country, leaving little value to locally created products. The world is taking notice to the economy and the environment. Creating a hemp-type fuel would boost the farming market, enable more jobs in the transportation and warehousing industry. Marketing of products will boost local jobs in retail, and would increase spending in the AMERICAN market. Hemp would also reduce the cutting down of forests, and reduce the cost of many items we use today.

My last area of change would have to be the soldier's GI Bill. Many Americans have had the option to purchase land or housing with their earned GI Bill prior to the building of our "new Army." Today, we still have an increasing homeless rate; many of which are veterans. Allowing them the option of using their benefits would decrease the homeless rate, increase debt repayment, and stimulate the economy once again. American Forces who decide not to attend college seem to loose any benefit as a "GI" besides the occasional handshake of a kind patriotic citizen.

Once again Mr. President, I thank you for your time. As a leader, your time is valuable, and limited. Sigmund Freud once said "people who are allowed to talk out the problems are more likely to SOLVE the problems. Even though I am only 23 years old, the voice of our generation will continue to make America a country worth fighting for, and to allow our children to grow in a STRONG America.

Very Respectfully,

Sgt Wright, Matthew
Pennsylvania

While I really enjoyed the interview and thought it was conducted well by Steve Croft, I thought the photography inside was done poorly. Michael Radutzky and Frank Devine are reportedly the photographers. The outside photography was good but the photos taken of the President inside could have been better. Steve Croft was shown in a much more favorable frame.

It is such a relief to listen to a president (elect) who speaks intelligently, who discusses ideas rather than putting forth meaningless slogans, and who clearly is a self possessed person.

America has a 57 Trillion Plus pound Gorilla is clinging to the back of the American economy. To fix the problem we have to pay the debt down. Look at the following SDR Loan Cycles Options:
*
Basic Debt Consolidation (BDC) Loan requires 1000 individuals to donate $10.00 plus tax. The following defines how the $10.00 donation will be processed.
$ 5.00 One (1) $5,000 Zero Compound interest loan. The individual who receives the loan will have 250 monthly payments of $25.00.
$ 3.00 The fixed trust must be used to purchase issued international U.S. Treasury Bills.
$ 2.00 Operational Expenses
$10.00
The affect of this loan would place $55.00 per month back in the recipients pocket and increase available loan funds by $20.00 per month.

SDR Statement of Mission calls for the reduction of personal and public debt. The above demonstrates how the plan works to address personal debt. With energetic marketing the SDR Program can generate a minimum of 17.4 Billion USD in recovered international treasuries. At that level of participation we will generate a minimum of 73,500 Loans. As these loans are repaid these funds are used to increase the number of loans issued and insure continued participation and income to purchase America%u2019s international debt.
