I missed it on TV tonight,I am so glad to have a President-Elect that is so humble, and down to earth! It''s makes my heart rejoice, that this President is real, and has some knowledge of what we average Americans go through! I have the utmost trust in him! His wife is sweet, smart and beautiful! I feel change on the horizon, and I feel President-Elect Obama is knows exactly how to bring America out of the mess it''s in today! Yes we can do it,because God is still on America''s side! My prayers go out to our first family!

After the much abuses and mishandling of the trust and support that the American people gave Bush, I am so glad that we now have a very capable person in President Elect Barack Obama. He will in fact carry not only our problems, but those that affect the nations of the World. He has inherited a huge load and as an American Citizen, I''m now called to stand behind him. It is my duty and our honor to defend this Country when faced in a crisis. Just the same way we supported Pres. Bush after 9/11, we must stand up and support our new President for the good of our Nation. Prez. Obama will need for the Citizens of this great Nation to stand behind him. We must give him a fair and full opportunity to make the changes that are necessary to bring the US out of this crisis. As an American citizen I have supported both Republicans and Democrats Presidents. Now more than ever, I''m called to stand behind this New President Elect, so that the Country that I love so much may once again "shine as a light on top of a hill".
As Christians we are called to Pray for our leaders, so my prayer is for God to shine His Light upon President Obama and that He may fill him with Wisdom from Above. May God give him good judgement and strength for every decision that''s needed to be made.

to the person who claims everyone who voted for obama drank Kool aid. My question is what did your candidate have to say about what he was going to do to get the country out of this mess that the president of YOUR party got us into.

All he did was try to scare people and tear down everything Pres. Elect Obama is trying to do.

It will be shown in its entirety online at 11PM ET.

Taken from Google News
"(CBS) The full video version of tonight''s broadcast will be made available online at 11 pm EST. Since Barack Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States 12 days ago, he has largely remained out of sight, getting high-level government ..."

Unfortunately, I didn''t know that President Barak Obama was suppose to be broadcasted on CBS tonight, until it had already went off. I think that this was something that everyone should have seen, and I am so distraut for missing it. I think that it would at least be nice for you to broadcast it again on your website, for people who might have missed it. I saw a written version of it, but a lot of people unfortunately can''t read. I looked on your website and saw more than a few videos on other topics, that ran for more than ten minutes long. Then I clicked on the one with Barak and it only played for less than a minute. THIS IS OUR PRESIDENT PEOPLE!!! Come on! I really think this is important. I think the Obamas are the most beautifulest people I''ve seen in a long time, and my family flocks to the tv just to hear every word that comes out of their mouths. I really wish to see this, and I''m sure I''m not the only person that feels this way. Be Blessed

I have read a few of the comments on here, and I have seen a few from one particular person that is ranting that Obama is not the person to help us out this mess, and that he said it will take more than 4 yrs. I hope you realize it took Bush 8 years to get us into this and are you more qualified to get us out. Or are you really upset that a black man may just be able to pull us out of this hole. I wonder what will be said when he does it. If your that terrified about him being president why don''t you move somewhere else until he''s not. Gas prices didn''t go down because of President Bush for sure or maybe it has because he''s leaving soon and he will be helping you take care of your family from the profit he''s made. Bush has left a filthy house for the future president to clean, why don''t you stop making excuses for being a bigot and grab a broom. You are an AMERICAN to right?

I thought John McCain was born in Panama. How come nobody is saying he''s not an American? We all need to grow up and accept people for who they are. The info on their birth is online. When did we as a people become so unable to trust others? If Obama is not a US citizen, then neither is McCain. What exactly are you afraid Obama is going to do? I''m very curious to know. I have and will continue to pray for this country and I''ll pray that God gives Obama the wisdom to lead our nation. We should be praying for our president and other elected officials all the time anyway. God will help us.

It is shameful that so many people spread lies without any attempt to know the truth. I have seen Barack Obama''s birth certificate and he was born in the United States. If he had been born outside the United States, his mother or father was a U.S. citizen, and his birth was registered with the U.S. Embassy (his mother was born in Kansas,)he could have still been qualified as a "Native Born Citizen" as it is described in the United States Constitution. However, he went to a public school in Indonesia. His fellow students were muslim, but he never was (even though he could have been a muslim without it effecting his qualification to be president.) This man is as much a president and a leader as any other previous President and should be judged by his performance in the job. Don''t let the fear of something different blind you. Have some hope, and maybe some pride someday soon.

i''m happy knowing that people can raise their thoughts while we have a chance. we must also remember to be patient with folks that cannot see beyond their skulls. least we all fall. now this gives us the opportunity to share with them. when we don''t understand things outside teachings, we become confused. i get comments all day long; "you must be proud of Obama" yes, but i didn''t have a right/chance due to others opinons. but would like to have shoes with an Obama logo LOL

I am posting this in response to Steve Kroft''s interview with the Obamas.

I wondered why an African American or a progressive journalist like Brian Williams was not given this first interview instead of CBS/Steve Kroft .

Whenever Democrats win an election or it appears that they may win, just as it first appeared with John Kerry, bias conservative reporters like Steve Kroft are quick to ask them if they are going to have republican in their administration. This was Kroft%u2019s first attempt but later he asked Mr. Obama again if he was going to have any of his enemies in his administration? I would like Steve Kroft to go back and show how many times he and CBS asked republicans if they were going to have Democrats in their administration.

I wonder how many of their enemies or even African Americans do executives at CBS or Steve Kroft employ or have in their inner circle. I hope Mr. Obama will stop trying to be all things to hostile conservative republicans.

This was a very contrived and disingenuous interview!

I have read all the comments the ONLY correct is "GOD IS IN CONTROL" Let God do the judging and we operate our Faith in Him. Dont be a hypocrite- God is Love.

Every President should be given the same 4 years of opportunity to make their plan work. Why is it that the Black President Elect is being treated differently? American should not be such mean spirited people. Be very careful how much hate you show

The candidacy of anyone in a authoritative position, reminds me of a scripture that says" Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except by God; the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God. Therefore he who opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God; those who have taken a stand against it will receive judgment to themselves." For those of us who have a bitter taste in our mouths about who is in office, we need to look at the bigger picture. That these people in office are there because of an arrangement that many of us took part in , regardless of who we voted for. and without this in place there would be no right to vote, take office, or more importantly make the changes that will help not only our country, but our place in the world as we know it. Therefore let us swallow that big pill call pride, and respect this regime, as we would any other. We will have time to critique it when it is off and running, after the first term

I have to pinch myself whenever I see the Obamas together. When they speak rarely is there an accusation pointed at anyone. Every word seems to be of a positive nature. Their love for each other is obvious. Barack Obama gives me something that no politician has ever given me: Hope! And it comes through his positive words, his sense of humor, and his love for his family. He is long overdue. My only wish is that the American people don''t expect too much, too soon.
Wouldn''t John Lennon have loved this???
Thanks

I''m sad that there are a lot of "white trash" type of commentators on here and at the same time I''m glad that there are also some rational people who are willing to give Mr. Obama the same chance they would anybody else who was elected President.

I am truly sorry to say that I feel that this is a era that so many people could be so blind to what is really going on. The media totally on the side of Obama and I don''t wish him bad but he is not the person to help us through this and he has nothing at all to do with the gas prices going down but when he says that his plan that is going to help us might take up to 4 years to work should be a big flag. HELLO..... HOW MANY OF YOU REALLY DID DRINK THE PUNCH ?!?!!??!!? I am so glad not top be so naive. whew !!!!
