I was alarmed and ashamed by your piece on the computer wastelands. What can I do as a consumer to assure that my old computer or cell phone does not end up in one of these illegal wastelands?

Many large U.S. Corporations do not care about this. They care that a recycling company came in and wrote them a big fat check to make the old electronics go away. Majority does not ask or care about downstream accountability. They put the unwanted electronics on pallets and auction off to the highest bidder. Company gets a big check and a pat on back for generating a new revenue stream. Too bad that much of this is OUR confidential data, hard drives and point of sale terminals. Wonder why identity theft is #1 crime?

Hello opp00. Sean Hannity is an entertainer. The best way to keep an entertainer "in check" is to not listen to them. Your rhetoric about divisiveness and promoting hate should righteously be pointed in the mirror, my friend, as you change the channel of your radio or television to a station of your choosing.

Also, I am a Barack Obama supporter. It concerns me deeply that ONLY 52% of the voters cast a ballot for my guy. 48% OF VOTERS WANTED SOMEONE ELSE! Bummer...

Also also opp00..... Your rant is completely off the subject of Mister Scott Pelley''s intriguing tease for this China toxic waste story. It''s a big world, Mr. Pelley, and it is amazing that you are able to bring us such a tragic tale from a land so far away and shrouded in secrecy sometimes. I can hardly wait to see the whole story!!
