I would like to know why a journalist accepts mistruths from candidates during interviews. Allowing this to happen, distorts the record. Someone turning on the TV in the middle of an interview would think the distortion is factual reality, because it has not been corrected by the journalist. Would you consider a show on exposing the press for its short comings? I was disappointed in the misstatements of one candidate misstating the other candidates''record. What is the problem here?

McCain has an IQ of 133, which just happens to be considered "genius". Just FYI. no, we don''t know barack obama''s IQ, he hasn''t released any of his tests, not even SATs. wonder why......
barack obama is a self serving, arrogant socialist. In all of his political career all that he''s done is promote his celebrity status. John McCain has served us, this country, and has courage and intelligence to get us out of this mess. Barack Obama was incapable of even taking a stance on what has just happened, how exactly would he handle it if he can''t even come up with a statement? He couldn''t come up with a statement about Russia invading Georgia. In crisis, all he does is hide. He opposed the surge, that has saved thousands of lives. His judgment has failed us over and over again, the only thing he does well is give speeches, and that''s what he''ll keep on doing for the rest of his life. There is no room for ''self-service'' in the white house, vote for ''public-service'' which is John McCain/Sarah Palin ''08!

My judgement of soon to be President McCain is he has proven himself to be a stallwart American citizen. His record speaks for itself. There were times when I differed with his voting on some bills, however, what I thought at that time has gotten me into a better judge of people. Obama was born in Africa and his parent flew him to Hawaii to get a forged birth certificate. He is not qualified to be president and the Democratic Party has failed to produce a candidate that is a naturally born American.

It did not appear that 60 minutes was unbiased regarding the Obama and McCain interview. The quesions towards McCain did not appear to be deep enough. McCain has serous issues with integrity. From his constant wrongful negative attacks, to his number of houses (7) and cars (13), lack of news conferences with Palin, and the untruthful adds. Lots of Americans knows it, but we look to 60 minutes to bring the truth the national forefront.

Are you not arrogant? Change the world? Question, what has Obama changed other than his solutions to serious circumstances ( whichever way the wind blows). He has used the media to perfection. It is sad to see so many people influenced by another slick political lawyer. All of the media has jumped on his bandwagon to fantasy camp along with some emotional people that will not take responsibility for their own actions or lack of. We are in tough times people, this is a time for someone like McCain that is not scared and will stand up to Iran and others that want their religion to prevail over the christian religion. Maybe the liberals want to be a muslim I DO NOT! All of Obama''s affiliations are questionable to a point where we have no idea who he is what he stands for etc,,,, I know exactly who McCain is and what he stands for. I am a strong beliver in, "your actions speak so loudly I can''t hear what your saying." Obama is all talk and no substance.

I am a registered Republican, who was voting for John McCain, but later changed my mind, because of the following facts. On September the 15th the stock market fell more than 500 points, then Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy; job losses is still at a record high and gasoline prices are on a rise again. On this same day, McCain at a campaign rally made the following statement %u201Che thinks the economy is fundamentally strong%u201D. Does anybody really think McCain is in touch with the economy? He is a deregulator and he didn''t believe in providing any safeguards, but all of a sudden he''s going to fix the problems he helped to create. Does anybody remember the Keating five? The scandalous savings and loan crisis that he was directly involved with. I find it ironic that everybody is scared to bring up that part of McCain''s past, which I think is relevant. What I see is that he hasn''t learned a *** thing, because if he did he would have made sure some safeguards where in place when the deregulation bill passed. Granted I am not blaming him for all of this, however, he is running for the highest office in the land. McCain is the biggest flip flopper on the issues, and tells blatant lies. I am for the first time voting for a Democrat. We can''t afford four more years of the same failed policies and thinking. I have run into a lot of Republican Wal-Mart moms here in Arizona, who share my views and will not be voting for John McCain, but will give Obama a chance. Melissa

McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone and Obama was born in Hawaii. Is either more exotic than the other? Voting for Obama is the right thing to do because of his policies on the economy and Iraq. Too bad the interviewer did not ask difficult questions as Obama had with Croft. That''s ok though because it gave Republicans, undecideds and independents a better look at Obama- the next president of the United States.

Inspiring1: every single thing you wrote is a LIE. Absolutely false!
One example: www.factcheck.org reviewed the authenticity of his birth certificate IN PERSON.

Regarding Palin speaking at a Jewish org. event, go to www.Jstreet.com and find out the truth.

Inspiring1 you are not for the TRUTH. You are a force for darkness and the DEVIL.

God Bless Barack Obama.

Hey inspiring1....Are you an American citizen? When did you take the oath? Obama was born in the United States of America....Like you he doesn''t have to take an "Oath"...He is a citizen! You are one of the uninformed voters they talk about....In other words you cannot comprehend what your read or are fed...Or perhaps you can''t read? This is what the rich and elite republicans want..people that are so stupid they can easily be fleeced...hence our education system. If people are literate they will know how incredibly dishonest and deceiving these guys are.
Mccain is a disgrace to Annapolis...crashed 5 airplanes...left his wife..has an addicted trophy wife is in cahoots with Phil Gram...can''t get SEC and FEC strait..and has banshee woman for a running mate...And what about keating 5 and what about the bank that his son was running that failed. MSM is not raising these issues....Why isn''t Mccain releasing his military records? Or his Medical records? He and Cindy are partying on American workers backs. HE JUST DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT.

It''s not funny, Guy?
It''s boring!
You better keep shouting, and not try to answer any question!
You need a higher IQ to be here, McCain.

I am with the company that made the Photo Dog Tag that was given to John McCain.
Our''s is a web company at address www.designsondemand.com
It is our privilege to give these dog tags free to immediate family members of fallen soldiers. We have done so to approximately 10% of the families of those who have been KIA in the conflict. We offer other memorial items for sale on the web site. We also produce dog tags and yellow ribbon magnets with photos and emblem or photo patches for family''s of currently serving soldiers.
Our hope is that the dog tags and other items will serve to encourage family and friends of soldiers, both fallen and living, to keep their soldier in mind and deal with the absence.
As a memorial item the dog tags help deal with a loss that is often very deep and will be carried though the rest of life.
As we have been in touch with so many families we are deeply impressed with the commitment these soldiers have to our country and the perseverance they and their families have to see the conflict and their own commitment through. I have read many memorial pages for the fallen and the talent and character quality that we are losing with them is truly immeasurable.
Thank you to all who serve.

I have to say that I appreciated both the tougher questions for Obama and the feel good approach they took to McCain. The direct approach to Obama''s interview allowed him to give direct answers and to show himself as the practical, straight forward man that he is. McCain''s softball interview also seemed appropriate since he is so old and tired and we wouldn''t want to tax him by asking any difficult questions. Nevertheless, I did see a couple of glimmers of the old McCain, the one I used to respect, and it made me sad because it definitely highlighted how he has sold out all of his "maverick" ideals to the Rove/Bush machine just to get his foot in the White House door. I do agree with him that a cut and run approach to leaving Iraq would create the same kind of anti-American sentiment that we have caused in the past. But Obama, as he stated in HIS interview, is not advocating a cut and run approach, but a thoughtful, careful withdrawal that will do the least damage AND stop the $10 BILLION a month bleed out that has been the Bush policy so far. So McCain should be very happy about that. And since McCain and Palin seem so very excited about change in Washington for this election, perhaps they too will be voting for Obama ''08. I know where they can get a nifty button!

OBAMA has NOT come out with the truth. Why he traveled to Pakistan with a INDONESIAN passport. There is no record of him Taking oath of US citizenship. His mentors, Rezko, Ayers, Meeks, Pledger, Wright, Acorn, Sharpton, PLEASE wake up these are only some of his associations and MENTORS. Read about HIM please...
What about the Democratic party blackmailing the Jewish organizations that if they let Palin speak at their event against Iran they will pull their Tax exempt status.
Who said he is an eloquent speaker...UM UM UM Let me See...come on people I am a mixed marriage this is NOT about race. I would be happy to vote for a the RIGHT black person. If your voting for Barack because he is black look at the Green party there is a strong Black women in charge. This is VERY scary. WE can not afford the change Obama has for this nation. Dems where the top people taking kickbacks from Freddie and Fannie.
He voted to have babies born alive in botched abortions even in 7 or 8 months left to die. THIS IS SCAREY...
Read the www.theobamafile.com do you know that Fat check is run by people who are OBAMA supports..bias hmmm. Where is his REAL birth certificate. Why two records in Hawaii he was born at two different hospitals. His trip to Africa to support his radical cousin for office.

How come no one saw in his speach this summer for America his Change poster in his podium had not AMERICA in front but AFRICA... WRIGHT influence...Makes you think..

Am I crazy or does it seem as if McCain is losing it. He seems to have memory issues and very slow speech. Think about that.
