The way I see it is that due to the fact that Barrack is part african american that will bring out more of his race to the polls, and he will also draw some whites along for the ride and that will tip the scales against McCain. If some of you think that this is not about race you are mistaken.I just pray that when Obama gets in he does what he is claiming if not God help us all.And when he gets elected that will make whites the minority and there will be a large swing in the social status.I am stil undesided on who to vote for to ruin,I mean RUN our country.

Time is running out and even though I am an independent, I ma going for Obama. NOthing in good conscience would make me press the lever for McCain who is in favor of deregulation. THroughout the campaign Obma has been consistent in his beliefs, platforms...and yes, temperment. Obama, you have my vote.

I am tired of hearing the racist comments and questions to Barack Obama. I live in Elko, Nevada, and was appalled when Steve Kroft made the comment, %u201CA lot of people here in Elko will not vote for a black person.%u201D Where do you have the right to make a statement like that? How can you judge, and speak for the people in Elko, we will not vote for a black person? Elko county is noted being Republican, not racist. I will have you know, (you should of done your homework) Barack Obama won in Elko County NV in the Democratic Caucus. If you would cut your self shaving, Steve Kroft, your blood color is red, the same as Barack Obama. What do you think of that????

I continue to be impressed by Senator Obama. He is one of the most intelligent men to seek the presidency in recent history. Our country is need of a leader who understands the complexity of issues facing America at home and abroad and who will work hard for all Americans. I hope and pray that voters come November will say enough of old Washington and John McCain and give Obama an opportunity to put this country back on the right path.

Sorry but if someone says this is a person they cannot vote for then maybe they should not vote at all, because there must be something severely wrong with their judgment. This is exactly what America needs, and the only way back into the international community. Having watched both CBS portraits of the candidates I am convinced that McCain is a great grandparent, and Obama will be a great President.

I agree and we''re voting for the obama/biden ticket and alot of my friends are. Republicans are lies, they don''t care about the middle class. They are ready to keep this terrible war going and they can''t help the economy. The bush years were terrible and they are an extension of that for sure. Palin is cruel, against american rights, ready to bring another war and is not diplomatic for foreign affairs. people who vote for obama are intelligent. He has helped this country and is helping this country get back on the good track after 8 years. Obama for President 2008!

Check out the breaking news about McCain and how he told the people of Detroit that he buys American. The president of the United Auto Workers is outraged, given the fact that McCain has 13 vehicles, including a Lexus, a Honda, a Toyota Prius, and a Volkswagon.

I watched both, I have concluded that McCain''s interview is not fair. Obama had an easier interview. I noticed that they asked the difference b/n McCain and Obama tax cut and they did not show the full answer. After McCain described his tax plan, they told what Obama tax plan was. 40 % of the people don''t pay income tax, therefore, 95% cannot get a tax cut. They did say that both candidate provide tax cut in a different way. Obama never cleared it to us how. Others have said that Obama tax plan provide a stimulus check or credit. This credit minus the tax increase would give you a net reduction in taxing you. So, those who don''t pay income tax would actually get a welfare check or extra money from others. Well, McCain, you are definitely the underdog in this race. All media except Fox are against you. I hope, the people, can recognize unfair bias and see that you are our hero. You think of us first.

I am finally taking a liking to Barack Obama and feel he will lead this country slowly out of the murky mess we''ve been in for the past 5 years.

I have lost all confidence in Bush, and McCain seems so aligned with him on the issues that I can''t find any way to even think about voting for him. Palin was a political ploy to persuade us to vote for McCain because he merely chose a female. I''m insulted by that, because there were many OLDER and experienced women he should have chosen - Kay Bailey Hutchison, Olympia Snowe, and so on...

McCain will say anything to get elected and pull any trick.

Smart women aren''t going vote for McCain because he picked another liar just like him to run with.

I noticed I did not have any problems listening to McCain interview but there are many problems in the video to listen to Obama.

Another 4 more years of Bush, we cannot afford. McCain and Palin is scary.

Obama great job! The interview did not seem as friendly as the McCain. You look and handle yourself great.

Counting on you to help us, Sen Obama. If another stimulus check comes out, because do not let them cut it because I am married but on social security. It seem so unfair, since IRS count my social security to cut my husband and I tax return.

You must win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be in serious trouble otherwise. I never voted for Bush and I will not vote for McCain and all his lies! I am ex military and the thought of a president with PTSD is extremely frightening.

Racism is the only explanation for this race being so close. You have McCain promising more of the same Bush policies that have gotten us where we are today, while Obama offers a clear way out for America.

White privilege is when you can claim that being mayor of a town smaller than most medium-sized colleges, and then Governor of a state (for less than 2 years) with about the same number of people as the lower fifth of the island of Manhattan, makes you ready to potentially be president, and people consider you a serious contender, while being a black U.S. Senator, two-term state Senator, and constitutional law scholar, means you%u2019re %u201Cuntested.%u201D

Did 60 Minutes ask McCain "Why you?" should be president? We will all pay the price of racism.

Amazing, CBS. Since Obama is not ahead of McCain in the polls, it has to be due to racism against him. Did you ask McCain the same question? No. Could it be that much of America does not want to vote for the most liberal congressman in America? Could it be that most Americans don''t want to vote for a liar who supports infanticide and *** education for elementary students, etc, etc.? CBS, can you say Sarah Palin? Can you say conservatism? Seriously, ask yourselves how many people are voting for Obama ONLY because he''s black. If you lop off that huge percentage of black racist voters, McCain would be far ahead in the polls. So, drop the racism question; after all, it''s partly because liberal, leftist Obama is black that he''s the nominee. Otherwise, what else does this community agitator with no experience bring to the table?

America has overcome its racist divide! The % of people that refuse to vote for someone merely because they have some racial bias are few in number! They will not determine this election!
