ok, was it my imagination or was there a CHANDELIER hanging from the trees as McCain and Chris walked thru his "yard". Are you kidding me? this coming from the man with seven(ish)homes, 13 cars, and he calls Barack Obama an elitist? unbelievable.

JOHN MCCAIN inspired me to put someone else before myslef, to be all that I can be, to serve a greater cause. that''s what his whole life has been about, he doesn''t have to make fancy speeches about change and unity, he''s dedicated his whole career to it, and it''s right there in his record. I AM PROUDLY VOTING FOR THIS MAN, and once he becomes president i will be as proud as i can be to have such a charismatic and inspiring leader! thank you JOHN MCCAIN!!!!

I''ve read three pages of comments - most of them bullying and supporting hate for the opponent of our own candidate of choice. Probably the most ridiculous comment being about the candidates using the issues for gain! That''s what campaining is, and has always been about! Get your views on the issues out there for people to think about! I''ve been waiting for this whole election "cycle" for the media to focus on the issues - rather than just the 10 or 15 minute "sound bite" selected by the media to "set up" their "experts" who have never done more than cloud the issues. If these "experts" are so smart, why are talking instead of running for office? The information we need about "most important election of our lifetimes" is being spoon fed to us by the media - who, whether they are willing to admit it or not, ARE equally biased, because the media is HUMAN! This is not a popularity contest, nor a contest for most photogenic, nor an elocution contest. For those of you who are appalled by age, get over yourselves, most of the rest of the world reveres age as the repository of knowledge and wisdom gained through vast experience - it''s not about ***, it''s about making the world safer for all of it''s people. If you trust the rest of the world to "play nice" and "just get along," you have no farther to look than in a mirror to see the error of that belief. By the way, I don''t care who you vote for, just vote.

Zero. I believe that Israel is a sovereign, independent country. With more than enough of a military capability to protect itself from Iran. We are supposed to be a nation that represents freedom and liberty. Yet we constantly do not allow other countries to govern themselves. Our founding fathers stoop up against tyranny and oppression. For what? So that we could oppress other countries?
My recent time spent in Afghanistan, working very closely with the Afghans. Has led me to believe that the majority of the PEOPLE of Iran are good. The people in the top levels of government are the radicals and anti Semitics. The people don''t want a war with Israel. Nor should they be bombed for the insane rantings of their tyrannical leader. This man speaks loudly and carries a very small stick. Let him yell, who cares? The generation in Iran that grew up with the Internet and TV and knows what the western world is like has just began to hit their early adulthood. Lets wait it out and see how the nation changes. I have a feeling most of them prefer prosperity over genocide.

mtbcmt8385 please stop talking. You are embarrassing all of us in the military. You are obviously in the Navy and have no idea what teh ground war is like. OEF ( operation enduring freedom ) is the war in Afghanistan. It was OEF from the get go. OIF ( operation Iraqi freedom ) was OIF when it started, and still is today. They have gone through OIF1, OIF2, OIF3 ect ect. But it is still OIF. And the war in Afghanistan is still OEF after all this time. Please don''t throw out your service member card as if it gives you some validation to speak about things that you don''t know about.

Inspiring1: every single thing you wrote about Sen. Obama is a LIE. Absolutely false!
One example: www.factcheck.org reviewed the authenticity of his birth certificate IN PERSON.

Regarding Palin speaking at a Jewish org. event, go to www.Jstreet.com and find out the truth.

Inspiring1 you are not for the TRUTH. You are a force for darkness and the DEVIL. Go back to spewing your Fox News lies.

God Bless Barack Obama.

I have listened to both candidates and I live in Wisconsin, where the GM plant closed. John McCain is the same as Bush, and who is Palin??? My son was in Iraq. If McCain was a POW how can he believe in this war! I have watched grown men cry loosing jobs, and women who work with me knowing now they are the bread winner, and this still goes on with gas costing $3.75 a gallon on a good day. I work in a hospital that I see people using the ER as a clinic because they can''t afford gas never mind health insurance. We do need change. If McCain is so good why does he have to keep paying for such terrible ads? Oh, and if he thinks he will get the woman''s vote just because his running mate is one, well that just puts another nail in the coffin. Bad choice of words. Let''s get to the facts and not this name trashing! When he can produce a good plan so I can see people in WI smile again, he may get my vote, but I don''t think he has it... Just another Bush!!! Go Obama!!!

OBAMA has NOT come out with the truth. Why he traveled to Pakistan with a INDONESIAN passport. There is no record of him Taking oath of US citizenship. His mentors, Rezko, Ayers, Meeks, Pledger, Wright, Acorn, Sharpton, PLEASE wake up these are only some of his associations and MENTORS. Read about HIM please...
What about the Democratic party blackmailing the Jewish organizations that if they let Palin speak at their event against Iran they will pull their Tax exempt status.
I would be happy to vote for a the RIGHT black person. If your voting for Barack because he is black look at the Green party there is a strong Black women in charge. This is VERY scary. WE can not afford the change Obama has for this nation. Dems where the top people taking kickbacks from Freddie and Fannie.
He voted to have babies born alive in botched abortions even in 7 or 8 months left to die. THIS IS SCAREY...
Read the www.theobamafile.com do you know that Fat check is run by people who are OBAMA supports..bias hmmm. Where is his REAL birth certificate. Why two records in Hawaii he was born at two different hospitals. His trip to Africa to support his radical cousin for office.

i have much respect for both Senators McCain and Obama, but there are some things that need to be put in perspective. it seems to me that both of them use the issues to try and gain some type of advantage in the race. the war in Iraq is a serious issue. every day someone dies in Iraq and for what? to keep the level of violence there to a minimum? i am a military serviceman and in 2003 when i deployed to the Red Sea it was Operation Iraqi FREEDOM, then a couple years later the mission changed to Operation ENDURING Freedom. but American serviceman are dying everyday there and the only thing thats happened so far is Iraq''s ability to accrue large amounts of wealth, and still leave us with the bill of their national security. our funding of this project in Iraq has had more of an effect HERE than it has THERE. if Iraq has 79 billion dollars to deposit into a bank in NY then its time that they started handling their own affairs. the surge was a success in reducing the amount of violence to a certain degree, but it definitely has not done anything to speed up the process of establishing an Iraqi governed democracy. i think its time for America to take care of America for a change, and i believe that Senator Obama is more interested in taking care of America than burying this country under the responsibility of taking care of countries elsewhere

However, Zero, you too are confused. Iran is not up in arms about the US because of a weak senator from Illinois ( even though the perception of him on the global scale is that he is actually very intelligent and strong ) The reason Iran is angry, is because of the occupation of the middle east by the US. They hate the fact that we occupy their holy land in the Arabian Peninsula. They also hate that they see themselves as just another step in the imperialistic latter of US global domination. They are simply trying to look like a hard target. You would do the same, and you know it. And you call them a terrorist state? I dont know. I guess I can see why you would say that. But their attacks on the US have been insignificant compared to the countries that we have began to occupy. In which attacks rise drastically. How is that security?
Clinton did do something. He deployed the US military more times than any other president in history before him. He also got into Nation building ( something George W. criticized him heavily for, and swore he wouldn''t do ) Clinton also continued to allow our occupation in the middle east, and many other countries in the world. Clinton was just as much about intervention as Bush is.
Try to take a step back and look at the big picture. Maybe do some reading on the subjects instead of listening to the lies of the men and parties with agendas ( trying to get your vote )

ZERO KNOTS. You are very confused bud. You have bought into a lot of half truths (half being a generous portion) Now the person who you were talking to is just as confused.
If you think that Obama is the peace candidate, you are seriously mistaken. He simply wants to stop combat patrols in Iraq. But he will keep the Big firm bases just indefinitely, just as we did in Germany, South Korea, and Japan ( we are still here over half a century later on the tax payers dime ) But Obama also wants to send more troops to Afghanistan ( a country currently more violent than Iraq ) and he also want to explore the idea of going into the tribal areas of Pakistan. That is yet another war, in another country. Having a huge US presence in Afghanistan will simply make this transition easy, and seem to make sense when he pitches it to the people. Don''t be fooled, Obama is not about peace at all..............

I have noticed that however, I am not sure about the conspiracy.

I sure do hope the people of the US will understand that the people we saw at the RNC are not representive of USA. These people... "the base" screaming "drill baby drill" are scary reflection of hate, ignorance and are closer to nazis than to my understand of what Americans are. Face it USA will be spanish speaking in 36 years...

You say Palin doesn''t have enough experience? She, as the number two person on the ticket has more executive experience than your number one selection the ticket- so this Palin''s only a heartbeat away from the presidency as, somehow, a reason to believe she couldn''t do a great job is ridiculous. And I don''t care if Barrack had 20 years in Congress, both McCain and Palin totally outshine Osama and Biden.
Oh, by the way, Osama is always saying John McCain is part of the good ol'' boy network just because he''s been a congressman for 26 years. Biden''s been a congressman for 32 years and Osama has been in Congress for what 3 years. Hmmm. That means the Osama/Biden ticket have a total of 35 years to McCain''s 26 and Washington outsider Palin''s how many-- oh that''s right she''s definitly not part of the good ol'' boy network. She would make a fine president if called to take over. . . Liberal Demoncrats are jealous of Palin. In reality, America''s worst threat is not having Sarah Palin as Vice President. America''s worst threats come from America''s most dangerous enemies- liberal radical leftist extemists like Osama and his swooning crowds of rabid apostles- the same people who have been full of hope- hope that Iraqi failure (or at least, the perception of it) would bring victory in policital campaigns.

McCain/Palin''s election would guarantee a new war in the making. They are just excited at wars. Palin called the iraq war "God''s war". Sounds familiar? Is that something like "holy war"? It''s scary to use God name as an excuse for war.

Great. If McCain gets elected we go from a C student to the guy who was fifth from the bottom of the class. You gotta respect his service but I don''t think that being a POW in any way more qualifies you to be president of the United States. McCain is, by his own admission, weak on economic issues and that is key given our current situation. Also his choice of Palin as VP shows he is putting his own self interest (being elected) ahead of the country. Also I think the obviously false attack adds his campaign is putting out are beneath him. Admittedly it is probably his campaign staff that is driving it but he is putting his seal of approval on these dishonorable adds which is something he said he would not do.
