Medal of Honor recipient recalls pulling fellow Marines to safety in Vietnam
Retired Sgt. Maj. John Canley was awarded the Medal of Honor for this actions in the 1968 Battle of Hue. According to statements submitted by his fellow Marines, he repeatedly exposed himself to enemy fire to pull his wounded comrades to safety.
