Children separated from parents suffer long-term mental health effects

The Department of Homeland Security says more than 2,300 children have been separated from their parents since April. They are being held in detention centers across the country. Psychologist Jessy Warner-Cohen explains to CBSN that children separated from their parents can suffer devastating long-term health effects including behavioral problems, anxiety, depression and trouble forming relationships.
