More bizarre animal antics captured on camera

(CBS News) While the classic image of bullying tends to bring to mind a larger bully and smaller victim, the roles can come in all shapes and sizes. And even extends into the animal kingdom. Watch as a curious gorilla gets a very unexpected surprise from a goose above.

Watch a Golden Eagle soar in super slow-motion

(CBS News) There's this amazing group who occasionally emails to ask if I'm interested in featuring their latest work. Let's see... am I interested in highlighting a Golden Eagle in super slow-motion? Uh, yes, please! (And keep them coming!) So watch as a bird of prey soars very, very slowly in the fascinating video above. And this is definitely best seen in high-definition if possible.

Find calm emulating this spinning Hawaiian monk seal

(CBS News) I'm a big believer that one of the absolute best ways to find calm during the day is to emulate the "spinning Hawaiian monk seal". Wait, are you saying you've never heard of this meditative form? Then I suggest you take a moment to watch and learn above.

Cat posing in mirror either curious or very vain

(CBS News) I've been guilty of doing a quick touch-up from time to time when I come across a mirror or reflective surface. Is it vanity? Possibly. (But in my defense, I have longer hair that gets mussed up really easily). Which leads me to the video above of a cat who is either very vain or totally confused by what she is seeing in the mirror. Curiosity? Extremely vain? Take a look.

When reactions are better than animal antics moment

(CBS News) Admittedly, a raccoon performing a "tightrope walk" across telephone wires is not something you see every day. But the focus of this post is on whether the reactions to an event like that captured on tape become even better than the random moment itself. So check out our first item above with the aforementioned raccoon routine and judge for yourself.

Animals a lot like people (in worst possible way)

(CBS News)  While we just took an amazing look at the majesty of nature, there is also a much darker side to be explored, too. "Wait, did you just angle your horns in my girlfriend's direction? Yeah, that's right, I'm talking to you. What the buck did you just say to me? Oh, it's on now!"

Some very playful and bizarre fun with animals

(CBS News) As a kid growing up, my friends and I were huge fans of watching professional wrestling. We idolized the likes of Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Andre the Giant, "Macho Man" Randy Savage (we still mourn the latter two) and many more colorful characters. And the video above is somewhat reminiscent of that time period in my young life... except it's way more cute and furry! Watch two pandas go head-to-head for the Adorable Wrestling Belt title.

Goshawk hunts water balloons in super slow-motion

(CBS News) The goshawk is a bit of a bird equivalent to the "shark of the skies". In short, these fearsome birds of prey are well-known for their superior hunting skills. And while there has been plenty of research and studies on almost every facet of these fascinating birds, one major question remains unanswered: what do they look like in super slow-motion hunting their dreaded enemy: water balloons! Well, finally find out the long-awaited answer above. (No, it's not 42).

Cat "sings" to music and tyke loves "walking" dog

(CBS News) There are a lot of quotes around words in that headline. I wonder why... could it be that the verbs used aren't necessarily being employed in a traditional sense? Ooh, I have an idea! Let's find out by clicking play on the first video above featuring a cat and an accordion.

Meerkat wants to stay awake (but keeps nodding off)

(CBS News) We've all been there before: you're totally exhausted, but you have to stay awake for some reason or other. So your eyes start to do that back and forth dance of slowly closing, followed by a spurt of wakefulness. (Wash and repeat.) And while I tend to turn to a cup of coffee about then, that's simply not an option for (dramatic pause)... a meerkat! Yeah, that's right!
