Report: New iPhone to cost the same as last iPhone

(CNET) Those hoping for a cheaper iPhone -- or dreading the possibility of a price hike -- can stand down, according to a new report that claims Apple will stick to its tried and true pricing structure.
In a report today, 9to5Mac posts a "parts code matrix" for the upcoming handset that sports the same $199 to $399 prices that have been in place since the iPhone 4S last year. The outlet says these prices and storage capacities will stay the same in the jump to the next iPhone, which is dubbed the N42.

The Kindle Fire HD is packed with features, including 1,920 x 1,200 resolution with 254 pixels-per-inch, dual Dolby digital plus speakers, Wi-Fi connectivity, a front-facing camera and 25 percent less glare than the Kindle Fire.
Software highlights include: Whispersync with Voice, which lets you listen to an audio book, bookmark your place and then switch to the e-book version; X-ray for movies lets you pause a video and look up an actor on-screen; and FreeTime creates different profiles for each person in the family, so that parents can limit their kids' screen time.

Citing several sources, the blog iLounge reported that initially Apple will be the exclusive vendor for the iPhone 5's dock connector adapter. According to the report, the company has not offered developers specifications for the rumored dock connector. Additionally, the sources say the adapters will sell for about $10 each or $29 for a pack of three.

Does Deadlight get lost in the zombie shuffle?

/ Tequila Works(CBS News) Since its release last month, developer Tequila Works' Xbox Live Arcade title "Deadlight" has seen a bag of mixed reviews. With IGN giving it an endorsing score of 8.5, Kotaku flat out telling readers not to waste their time and Gamespot settling on middle ground with a somewhat balanced 6.5, it can be tough to get a handle on this title without playing it for yourself.
It's a game that borrows heavily from other popular XBLA titles. Most commonly, it has been compared to "Limbo" and "Shadow Complex." Its style can easily be described as taking "Shadow Complex's" side-scrolling 3-D graphics and controls and sprinkling in "Limbo's" shadowy aesthetic and movingly desolate atmosphere.

(CBS News) Amazon is expected to announce several new products at a press conference Thursday in Los Angeles. Among the retail giant's lineup may be a Kindle Fire 2, smartphone and a new "Paperwhite" Kindle e-reader.
The new Kindle Fire 2 may feature a custom version of Google's mobile operating system Android, Nokia Navigation and location-services - either with a GPS chip or Wi-Fi triangulation.

Survey reveals cell phone safety habits

Apple could sell 10 million in a week iPhone 5, analyst says

According to a report by AllThingsD, Gene Munster, analyst at Piper Jaffray, says that Apple could possibly sell between 6 million to 10 million iPhone 5s in the first week of launch.
