Report: New iPhone to cost the same as last iPhone

Apple Inc.

(CNET) Those hoping for a cheaper iPhone -- or dreading the possibility of a price hike -- can stand down, according to a new report that claims Apple will stick to its tried and true pricing structure.

In a report today, 9to5Mac posts a "parts code matrix" for the upcoming handset that sports the same $199 to $399 prices that have been in place since the iPhone 4S last year. The outlet says these prices and storage capacities will stay the same in the jump to the next iPhone, which is dubbed the N42.

/ Tequila Works

(CBS News) Since its release last month, developer Tequila Works' Xbox Live Arcade title "Deadlight" has seen a bag of mixed reviews. With IGN giving it an endorsing score of 8.5, Kotaku flat out telling readers not to waste their time and Gamespot settling on middle ground with a somewhat balanced 6.5, it can be tough to get a handle on this title without playing it for yourself.

It's a game that borrows heavily from other popular XBLA titles. Most commonly, it has been compared to "Limbo" and "Shadow Complex." Its style can easily be described as taking "Shadow Complex's" side-scrolling 3-D graphics and controls and sprinkling in "Limbo's" shadowy aesthetic and movingly desolate atmosphere.

(AP) South Korea's antitrust watchdog said Thursday it has launched an investigation into whether Samsung Electronics Co. is abusing its dominant position in the wireless market to disadvantage Apple Inc.

But its argument that Apple should be barred from selling products that illegally use patents that are considered essential technology for 3G networks have scored only one victory - in a Seoul court - while drawing scrutiny from regulators on at least two continents.
