James Holmes' missing Facebook account

People who knew suspect James Holmes in deadly movie theater attack when he was growing up in San Diego are shocked.

(CBS News) "I am not a 24-year-old gun-slinging killer from Aurora," James P. Holmes wrote on Facebook Friday morning.

Holmes is a Denver man who shares first and last names with the suspect in the deadly shooting that took place at a midnight screening of the latest Batman movie just hours before, James Eagan Holmes.

"Gchat" down, Google working on fix

At 6:40 a.m. ET Thursday morning, the Google Apps Status Dashboard stated: "We're investigating reports of an issue with Google Talk. We will provide more information shortly."

According to a recent report by Bloomberg, the service has booked 4,500 vacation rentals in London over the next three weeks, which is three times the average for the city.

Lenovo CEO gives his $3 million bonus to lower-paid workers

(CBS News) Lenovo chief executive officer Yang Yuanqing is showing appreciation to his employees by giving them his bonus.

Yang gave away his $3 million bonus to about 10,000 of Lenovo's lower-paid workers, many in manufacturing, according to a report by China.org. Divvied up, the cash amounts to about 2,000 yuan ($317 USD).

Apple's next iPhone may have thinner screen

(CBS News) Apple's next iPhone may have a thinner screen, according to a recent Wall Street Journal report.

The next iPhone screen will be made by three companies - Sharp, Japan Display and LG Display - the Journal said, citing sources close to the matter.

Using technology that reportedly integrates sensors into liquid crystal displays (LCD), the need for a separate touch-screen layer may be eliminated, shaving off about half a millimeter of thickness.
