Shooting at U.S.-run facility in Kabul
(AP)
There were reports Sunday of small arms fire and two explosions inside a U.S.-run facility in the former Ariana hotel, near the presidential palace in Kabul.
The site of the incident was about 700 yards away from the U.S. Embassy.
CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reports that there was a single shooter in an "embassy annex" building.
There are reports of two people wounded. Security personnel - whose personnel is unknown - killed the shooter.
The U.S. Embassy was still in lockdown, said Martin.
