Beaten Giants fan speaking again, family says

SAN FRANCISCO - The family of a San Francisco Giants fan who was brutally beaten outside Dodger Stadium says he is speaking and "more responsive" than ever since the March attack.

Bryan Stow's family posted on its website Wednesday that his latest improvements came a week after Stow received a shunt to relieve pressure on his brain. During a speech therapy session, he was able to say his full name and the names of his two children.

Stow suffered severe brain injury when he was attacked in Los Angeles after the Dodgers' home opener against the Giants on March 31. Two men have been charged, and both pleaded not guilty last month.

Doctors at San Francisco General Hospital have said it's unclear how long Stow's recovery will take. He remains in serious condition.

This is good news...Peace to Brian and his whole family. As for the F-heads that did this, may they rot in prison.
