Death toll lowered in Norway terror attacks

The death toll from last Friday's horrific twin terror attacks in Norway was lowered by police Monday morning.

Although a search still continues at the island of Utoya for several still missing, officials reduced the number of victims fatally shot by a gunman dressed in a police uniform from 86 to 68.

Police, however, raised the death toll from the bomb blast outside the government headquarters in Oslo, from seven to eight.

That makes the current death toll 76.

Norway mourns massacre victims

The man who confessed to carrying out the two-pronged massacre, Anders Behring Breivik, pleaded not guilty in an Oslo courtroom today. According to the presiding judge, Breivik explained that he wanted to "save" Europe from the spread of Marxism, multiculturalism and Islamic immigration.
