Iran blames U.S., Israel for Stuxnet malware

CBS News

TEHRAN, Iran - A senior Iranian military official says experts have determined the United States and Israel were behind a mysterious computer worm known as Stuxnet that has harmed Iran's nuclear program.

Gholam Reza Jalali says investigations by Iranian experts show that Stuxnet originated from the U.S. state of Texas and Israel.

Jalali heads a military unit called Passive Defence that primarily deals with sabotage.

His comments were reported Saturday by Iran's official IRNA news agency.

Iran has acknowledged Stuxnet hit a limited number of centrifuges at its main uranium enrichment facility, the centerpiece of its nuclear program.

The U.S. and its allies accuse Iran of seeking to develop nuclear weapons, a charge Iran denies.

Iranian investigation. Blame America and Israel with the very little evidence (Israeli language in the programming) even though America (betting the Israeli secret service had something to do with it) had nothing to do with it most likely, so I wouldn't congratulate or hate America for what Iran said we did. Besides Remember if god himself blew up a city in Iran, America and Israel would still be blamed

More power to the CIA for once. Would these crazies prefer cruise missles with atomic warheads? That may be next if they cannot get rid of their dictators in dresses.

I hate to tell you this but I think it was the IIA (Israeli intelligence agency), and as a person who supports Israel (except for there secret service which is known for failing at going undiscovered (the last few attacks they did resulted in there cover being blown after the mission))
but this mission was designed to stop Iran from getting nukes

And Texas U.S. and Israel developed the software that can detect the malware on the Iranian's computers for $49.95. Or they can upgrade to the Pro version for $99.95 if they actually want to clean the malware from their computers.

For critical systems, use NON-STANDARD computer systems and have "Dummy" back-ups that really can't be hacked.

Dear Iranian A Holes: Don't like us putting malware in your gear? Get better nerds. I am sure the ones you had are taking a dirt nap right now. Be glad we or Israel didn't decide to just level those facilites the old fashioned way. With explosives. Bite me.

Buddy: Not all Iranians are A Holes: Lighten up.

An Iranian walks into a bar in America late one night.
An American guy takes the stool beside him .
Are you one of those 'ians'?' asks the American, with a contemptuous smile.
The astonished Iranian asks, 'What do you mean?
No difference, Arabian, Iranian, Indian, all the same,' says the American in a humiliating tone, laughing out loud.
The Iranian asks instead, 'And are you one of those 'keys'?'.
What would that mean? The American asked!
The Iranian replied:
'No difference, donkey, Yankee, monkey, all the same

Perhaps the lessons of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami will perhaps lead the Iranians in power to move away from building such devices...they claim is for peaceful purposes, be we know better.

You don't keep civilian nuclear research a secret for 20 years unless you intend dual use for the uranium.

If any of you Iranians in power read this post, I suggest that you reconsider the wisdom of its' development.
