All thoise cute gadgets might work in the city, where it's no more than 50 feet or so to the street. Places where it's 200 yards to the road and the city doesn't supply snow removal need heavier duty equipment than this article describes. I guess that's the drawback for living in rural America instead of a crowded city.

Harry- You'd love a SnowBrum! I am short and own a van and it is illegal here to leave the snow piled on top of your vehicle so it has been wonderful! My entire neighborhood uses mine after a big storm!
