Sharron Angle Raises $14 Million in 3rd Quarter

Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle has raised $14 million in three months in her bid to oust Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The cascade of cash Angle took in between July and September is a worrying sign for the Democratic leader, who is locked in a dead heat with the Republican challenger.

Angle's campaign Tuesday did not immediately release figures showing how much money she had left in the bank for the campaign's stretch run.

Reid has said he intends to raise $25 million for the race.

His campaign has not yet released its fundraising numbers for the third quarter.

Angle was once a little-known former legislator whose come from behind victory in the June primary made her a national tea party star.

$14 million ... just goes to show the results of the US Supreme Court allowing corporations ( aka casinos in Neveda ) to spend unlimited amounts of money because it is their right to destroy America from within to save "Corporate America". Support for Sharron Angle is not grassroots support, it is big corporations supporting those candidates who will cut their corporate tax rates, let them opt out of the new Health Care Act and generally rape the average American while they are enroute to the big banks supported by Americans taxpayers.

Yeah the idiots in South Dakota said the same thing about Senate Minority leader Tom Daschle when they kicked him to the curb and replaced him with a junior Republican senator. Of course, many of those cheerleaders came to regret it when Ellsworth AFB was recommended for closing and their get-er-done Republican savior didn't have the political power to save those jobs.

Angle tells a reporter that the unemployment system has ?spoiled? our citizens, that American?s don?t do jobs like cleaning toilets and washing dishes.

On another occasion, Angle expressly said that as Senator it would not be her job to create jobs in Nevada, that it was the duty of the Lieutenant Governor and other state officials to create a hospitable environment for businesses. So her idea is to get rid of unemployment benefits as well as commit to doing nothing to spur job growth within her own state? wait, what?

Let me get this straight: she blames Senator Reid for the high unemployment rate and the high foreclosure rate but yet says once she?s in office those things will be none of her concern.

When she was interviewed earlier this week on Jon Ralston?s Face to Face, Angle said ?It is the job of the US Senator to create a climate that will be conducive for creating jobs which means lowering taxes and deregulation.?
