An Amber Alert has been issued for two children police say were abducted from an alley outside an Anaheim apartment complex in front of their horrified mother.
Sgt. Rick Martinez says the mother was taking her trash to a dumpster in the alley at about 8 p.m. Thursday with her two children, 4-year-old Jacob Quinones and 2-year-old Justin Quinones, following behind. The woman told police a van pulled up and two men jumped out, grabbed the children, put them in the van and drove off.
Martinez says some independent witnesses saw the abduction.
Police are looking for a late model Dodge Caravan with tinted windows. The van is grey, silver or pewter and has a dent in the right front door. The license plate is not known.
