Supreme Court Upholds Fine on Obama "Birther"
The Supreme Court has upheld a $20,000 fine against a leader of the movement challenging President Barack Obama's citizenship.
The high court on Monday refused to block a federal judge's October 2009 ruling that required California lawyer and dentist Orly Taitz to pay the $20,000 fine for filing a "frivolous" litigation. The judge said Taitz attempted to misuse the federal courts to push a political agenda.
Taitz sued in Georgia federal court on behalf of Army Capt. Connie Rhodes. Rhodes sought to avoid deployment to Iraq by claiming Obama wasn't born in the United States.
Justice Samuel Alito on Monday rejected Taitz's second request to block the sanctions. Justice Clarence Thomas had rejected the request earlier.

LOL, and this is what military recruiters managed to sucker into signing up, and when he discovered his signup bonus and benefits he got when he signed up suddenly required him to go to the front lines, this is the draft dodger scheme he cooks up with his lawyer to avoid going!!
Let's just file a frivolous suit in Federal court claiming Obama wasn't born in the US and see if we can get draft dodger off.
did thomas do this at scalia's urging?
The current Supreme Court and the Constitution on the same page.
Now if they could revisit that little judicial activist problem from the conservative Justices and overrule the Citizens United verdict. Wow, victory for American ideals is refreshing.
So even if the conspiracy could be right (it's been definitevly disproven), because his mother was a US citizen, he automatically became one by birth. he could have been born on Mars for all it matters.
And the 'Natural born Citizen' folks - all that 'natual born' means (by the definition at the time the Constitution was written) meant was 'by birth and not a naturalized citizen'.
So - he's eligible NO MATTER WHAT.
