Immigration Law Protesters Interrupt Mets Game

(AP)  Two men carrying Mexican flags in protest of Arizona's immigration law ran into the outfield during the seventh inning of the New York Mets' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night at Citi Field.

The men were apprehended by security fairly quickly without much incident.

Prior to the game, about 40 people across the street from the ballpark chanted "Oppose racism!" and "Boycott Arizona!"

Others stationed closer to the subway exit handed out leaflets that requested Major League Baseball move next year's All-Star game out of Phoenix.

Ask those people who were waving the Mexican flag what Mexicans would do to two Americans who interrupt a soccer or other festivity by waving the American flag in Mexico? Honestly, what would be the reaction?

Support the Arizona boycott now. All illegals in the US need to stand up and support the Arizona Boycott immediately. You can begin your protest by marching south; and just keep on going.

Got no problem with Mexico. For those who seem to be trying to take over the US for Mexico, bring an all-day sucker.

LET'S DO THE MATH ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, I am a Democrat who has talked with many experts who say illegal aliens will cost Democrats 20 to 30 million jobs and lower wages for another 50 million. They say there are as many as 35 million illegal aliens in the U.S. now and 15 million more trying to cross the boarder. Obama has let the word be known to all illegal aliens that we won't check your status or stop you from crossing the boarder. Obama traded Democrats jobs for the Hispanic vote in 2012, we have been double crossed by Obama.....

What no one is seeing is their little "anchor babies" will be voting in a few years--anyone know how many there are?? Crude estimates are 425,000.

What Does This Mean?
Higher Taxes: The federal government has control over immigration law for the United States. By not correcting this mis-application of the 14th Amendment, the funds that state and local governments must provide to anchor babies amounts to a virtual tax on U.S. citizens to subsidize illegal aliens.

Disrespect for the rule of law: Congress, by failing to act on legislation aimed at correcting the interpretation of citizenship by birth, in effect rewards law-breakers and punishes those who have chosen to follow the rules and immigrate legally.

The original intent of the 14th Amendment was clearly not to facilitate illegal aliens defying U.S. law and obtaining citizenship for their offspring, nor obtaining benefits at taxpayer expense. The United States is unusual in its offer to extend citizenship to anyone born on its soil. Other developed countries have changed their citizenship practice to eliminate the problems caused by the practice of birthright citizenship.[1] The anchor baby problem has grown to such large proportions that the United States can no longer afford to ignore it. The logical first step for correcting the problem is for Congress to adopt legislation clarifying the meaning of the 14th amendment.
