Defense, Spy Officials Linked to Child Porn

By
CBSNews
(CBS)  Dozens of Pentagon and spy agency officials with top security clearances purchased and downloaded child pornography, federal investigators say, and some even accessed the illegal images on government computers.

The alleged culprits include employees of clandestine agencies like the National Security Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, raising concerns about the conduct of employees and contractors in such sensitive positions and about the potential for them to be blackmailed, compromising national security.

The revelations, based on government investigations dating back to 2006, first appeared in the Boston Globe Friday.

"The fact that offenders include people with access to government secrets puts national security agencies at risk of blackmail, bribery, and threats, especially since these individuals typically have access to military installations," said a Defense Criminal Investigative Service report quoted in the Globe.

Some of the individuals have been prosecuted and other cases have been dropped, the Globe reported.

Dump the perpetrators into Jupiter, or exile them to Mars. The prisons on Earth are maxed out, and so are the cemeteries. There's no more space for the living.

If any person named in this investigation is found guilty of KNOWINGLY possessing child pornography, then justice must be served. There can be no free passes because of the government's involvement here.

In today's world there are hundreds of people being arrested on these charges. Their lives are being ruined, and they are shown no mercy. The government cannot afford to treat its employees and contractors any differently.

On the other hand, there are people being arrested in the United States for possession of child pornography who didn't even know it was on their computer. When you are innocent, being labeled a child predator is devastating.

As a potential victim or a potential jury member, we should all become aware of this possibility.

We have compiled a listing of numerous articles that deal with the subject of innocent people being wrongly accused of possession of child pornography. This site also includes extensive court documents and the complete transcript of a trial in this matter. Our National Security has employees that are ALMOST as varied as our society. It shouldn't surprise anyone that there are pedophiles working in defense or security. What surprises me, just as it surprised you, is the lack of comment and concern. In these cases there is a real risk for blackmail, yet its the idea of allowing gays, who are serving honorably and bravely, that get hundreds of angry comments.

That can happen quite innocently, in the course of using computers on line.

You must find evidence that they did that of their own volition.

Interesting. I am on the internet hours each day doing research for a book. Not once have I ever encountered child porn, and if I did I certainly wouldn't download it. If it is on their computers, that is evidence enough. That has put many people in jail - mere possession.

And these bozos are reading YOUR email, pulling sneak and peek raids on YOUR home and listening to YOUR telephone calls... all in the name of "national security".
.
Our rotten excuse for a government loses more credibility each day. At some point, we will simply have to give the U.S. government the one-finger salute.

These are the "National Security Experts" that we pay $1 billion a day to keep us safe?
Perhaps the wise thing to do is to keep our $Billion a day of tax money,
and stop giving it to the pedophiles at the NSA, NRO, DARPA, and Homeland Security.
Now I see why they cloak everything in "National Security". It is to hide the fact that
they rape children.

Is that right? Wow, could have fooled me. I don't have that problem. You know, the problem is google bringing up child porn when I am searching for children's nutrition information, for example. Please, don't ask people to be naive.
