Marijuana Rains Down in East Texas

It was raining marijuana in a rural area of east Texas.

Hunt County Undersheriff Joe Knight says rural homeowners near Greenville reported hearing duffel bags filled with what appeared to be marijuana thud onto their roofs early Monday.

Knight said his department was advised about 5:30 a.m. Monday to watch for a low-flying aircraft. A single-engine plane was found abandoned in a field beside a runway at Caddo Mills Municipal Airport about two hours later.

No injuries or damage was reported. Knight said the public has turned in four black nylon duffel bags filled with what appeared to be high-grade, hydroponic marijuana. Deputies found two other bags of pot in the plane.

A man is in custody for questioning, but no charges have been filed in the case.

Caddo Mills is about 35 miles northeast of Dallas.

How in the world did they know it was hydroponic? That's cut and processed weed, not whole plants with the growth medium intact.

OK, what I dont get how the cops act like they had any part in this, all they did was drive out and pick up the bags, its not like some drug ring they had on the hook for two years, they fell right into their hands, literally, gee hard work.

Second who are these idiots that get so lucky to have bags of pot fall on their home only to call the cops???? I wish they would drop 4 of those on my house I would be very happy and quite about it, oh and High, super high!
