Mel Gibson Demanding Sex Act in Latest Tape?

By
CBSNews
(CBS)  It started with one tape posted on the Internet - a man sounding identical to Mel Gibson in a tirade at Gibson's now ex-girlfriend for dressing too provocatively, in the man's opinion.

"You look like a f***ing b**** in heat," the man is heard saying.

Then, reports CBS News Correspondent Ben Tracy, another, also posted on the gossip site RadarOnline.

Did Mel Gibson Beat Up His Ex?

"You need a f***ing bat in the side of the head. How about that?" the man screams to the Gibson ex, Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva, who's apparently the one who recorded the tirades.

In a third tape, the man called her "a f***ing using whore."

And now, a fourth -- nearly 20 minutes of hate-filled vitriol, with the man allegedly threatening Grigorieva demanding a sex act, coupled with another threat.

"I deserve to be b**** first! OK. I'll burn the g***** house up, but b*** me first!" the man says.

Grigorieva wants custody of the 8 month old daughter Gibson fathered. She filed a complaint with police that sparked a domestic violence investigation against the actor.

In one recording, he does not deny hitting her. She says, "Hitting a woman when she's holding a child in her hands. Breaking her teeth twice in the face! What kind of man is that?" He says, "Oh, you're all angry now!" She says, "You're gonna get to... you know what?" He says, "You f***ing deserved it!" She replies, "You're gonna answer one day, boy."

That same call includes what seems to be a death threat, with the man saying, "I'll put you in a f***ing rose garden, you c***! You understand that? Because I'm capable of it."

"On the verbal threats alone," says CBS News legal analyst Lisa Bloom, "Mel Gibson (if it is indeed him on the tapes) is looking at up to three years behind bars."

Yet, after all the yelling, Grigorieva was silent when asked about Gibson by Hollywood paparazzi chasing her.

Gibson hasn't been heard from, either.

No surprise, says Bloom: "There's only one reason why he's not talking and that's because he's in serious legal jeopardy. I'm sure his defense attorney is saying to him you may not speak."

The two are scheduled to face off in a custody hearing Tuesday.

You act like a hook'r, you get treated like a hook'r, I always say. Okay, not always, but she sleeps with him so he'll spend money on her, he probably has a right to get his money's worth.

When will wealthy middle-aged men learn that they are constantly being targeted by lovely younger women with a mission to get pregnant and get as much money as they can from them? This happens over and over again. Duh! Men need to take responsibility of the birth control part of their life and for goodness sake, stop marrying these women. He got himself in this situation and I find it hard to feel sorry for him.

He's not a devout Catholic anymore. He dropped out of the Catholic church more than 20 years ago to join a new denomination called the "True Catholics." But he's even walked away from that, immediately after the release of The Passion. It's one of the things that led to the breakdown of his 29 year marriage.

OK, I get the b-words but what is the g-word? Gibson?

Up to a point... I'd say that an actor's offscreen behavior doesn't, or at least shouldn't, have much bearing on his/her career. But unless some of this about Mel is total fiction, I'd say he's gone WAY over the line and I hope his career is over. There are enough capable actors who are decent human beings that we don't need trash like Mel appears to be turning out to be cluttering up the screen.

He is just another example of spoiled celebrities...Apparently some people cannot handle fame or wealth, they think they can do anything and are above the law...

After listening to his (alleged, but I notice he isn't denying anything) disgusting language and seemingly psychotic tone, I don't see how anyone could defend him. He's obviously in need of mental help. And if it is true that he struck her (especially while she was holding a child--HIS child), he needs to be brought up on charges.

If this is truly his voice and words, I don't see how any true Christians could defend his actions.

Mel should have learned a lesson from Lee Marvin.
.
Lee Marvin made headlines with his landmark legal case in 1979. He had met Michelle Triola, a 31-year-old stand-in and extra dancer, on the set of "Ship of Fools" in 1964, and they had become lovers until they parted in 1970. Marvin sent money to her for 1-1/2 years; when he stopped, she sued, claiming in the trial that they had agreed to share the money he had made during the nearly six years they cohabited. Although Triola wanted half of the $3.8 million the actor had earned while they were together, a judge ruled there was no contract, establishing the California courts' "palimony doctrine."

Tired of thinking for yourself? Welcome to the daily diversion!
.
Particpating in the latest 2 minutes of hate will take your mind off the things that really matter... Such as the death of 8 more U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
.
Last week, we had the "Lohan Lynching", week before that was the "Is Mylie Cyrus Wearing Underpants"... this week is the "Grrr! I hate Mel Gibson!" follies.

Like most people I smell a rat in all of this foolish publicity. The only question is how many rats are involved. On one had we have tapes which are supposedly Gibson but are obviously edited and don't give a true reflection of what was really going on throughout the conversation.
Then Gibson has another project under way. Could he be using this as free publicity? It may not be good publicity but you know the old saying that any publicity is good as long as they spell the name right.
I do wonder but as the plot plays itself out, I am not going to get very worried about it. Either tiff or con, it will all work out in the end.

It doesn't really matter what was going on. Is she an idiot, too? Yup. IF it is him on the tapes, he did say all those things. He made racist comments and admitted to hitting her and threatening her. No one forced him to make those comments. Why would you make racist comments if you weren't a racist? I don't care how much a person was antagonizing me, that wouldn't cause me to make racist comments if I wasn't a racist! Those thoughts wouldn't even be in my mind.
