Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Suit Set

A year-to-the-day after Michael Jackson died, a wrongful death suit is being filed on his father's behalf, Joe Jackson's attorney says. It's the last day for such filings.

Brian Oxman told "Early Show" co-anchor Harry Smith Friday the civil suit will name Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor authorities say administered the drug that wound up taking Michael Jackson's life -- and who faces involuntary manslaughter charges as a result. Murray gave Jackson the powerful anesthetic propofol to help Jackson sleep, investigators say.

Oxman adds other parties will be cited in the suit once he gets certain paperwork. He calls people involved with the "This Is It" concert Michael was rehearsing for when he died "enablers."

And he insists Joe Jackson's motivation isn't financial:

I have to say that I question Joe's motives here. After the relationship he and Michael had, I have a hard time believing it is all for Michael.

The Jackson family has cashed in on Michaels death, like nothing I have ever seen before and with the speed of wind. Joe, however,has been left out of getting money from what I understand and so, what else is he to do? Here's a guy who wants dome more free money and this lawsuit represents an option to getting some.
