- I just heard Christina Aguilera's shoddy rendition of what was SUPPOSED to be the National Anthem. Why can't we enjoy our nation's signature anthem without the wailings of those who try to make the opening of an event, an event in itself. Every person I know (and I know a LOT of people), would like to ask singers to PLEASE leave off trying to sing like a sick cow, and let us enjoy our country's National Anthem the way it was written, and SUPPOSED to be sung, without all the caterwalling and yawling. Where is your sense of pride in America and yourself as an American and a professional singer, that you would desecrate so severely, something we hold so dearly.
