Courtney Love: I Bedded Gavin Rossdale

Not to be outdone by women coming forward and admitting to affairs with Tiger Woods and Jesse James, rocker Courtney Love now claims she had an affair with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, who is married to Gwen Stefani.

The "Hole" singer, who has a new album out, dished to DJ Howard Stern on Wednesday that she allegedly had an eight-month affair with Gavin Rossdale after he began dating "No Doubt" singer Gwen Stefani, the L.A Times reports.

The troubled singer known for her past drug addiction, erratic behavior and marriage to the late Kurt Cobain, went as far as to say that she had a "vision of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time... We were like, 'Let's go spend our rock star money,'" the Huffington Post reports.

She went on to describe Rossdale as "lovely" and said she knew that he was with Gwen.

"Everyone gave me so much s--- because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt...." she said. "But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed ... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know."

"You mean he was having sex with you while he was with her?" Stern asked Love during his radio talk show.

"Everyone ... yeah ... and a few other people," Courtney said. "We didn't have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit."

So far there hasn't been any comment from the Rossdale-Stefani camp just yet.

Rossdale and Stefani, who have appeared to happy and in love in front of the cameras, were married in 2002 and have two sons together.

Courtney looked like she was trying to be on her best behavior the other night on Letterman, didn't she? Good move with the whole custody thing going on while she's trying to put out a new CD, but her performance of "Skinny Little *****" seemed like she was on anti-depressants or something! Maybe she should have sang "Lithium" instead... Her song ended pretty strong though once she got revved up. Maybe they'll sell some records... Psych! Controversy sells anything nowadays though, so you never know. Too bad she wasn't still strung out on something though, the performances would be waaaay more entertaining! lol

She also mentioned Ryan Gosling's name to Letterman in regards to who might play Kurt Cobain in the upcoming Nirvana bio-pic. I thought that was a lame choice. Joe Anderson, who was in the Ian Curtis-Joy Division bio-pic "Control" and The Beatles "Across The Universe" seems like a much more relevant, not-so-mainstream, hipper choice, IMHO. Anybody but Jared Leto... as long as the movie's better than "Last Days" and stands up in comparison to something like "The Doors". I'm looking forward to the movie more than I am Hole's new CD! (that was probably written entirely by Billy Corgan) Vive le Grunge!

Boring! Courtney is yesterday's news. She has no career, so she tries to leech onto Gwen Stefani's good fortune. People love Gwen, they barely tolerate Courtney.
