Jesse James Crushed Over Loss of Son, Bullock

As Sandra Bullock files for divorce from husband Jesse James and adopts son Louis as a single mom, James says he's left with "a huge hole in my heart."

But it would be selfish not to let her go, James said in a statement posted Wednesday on People magazine's website.

James was responding to an interview with Bullock on People's website in which she disclosed that she and her now-estranged husband adopted a newborn child several months ago.

The Oscar-winning actress has since split from James after revelations of his marital infidelity.

In his statement, James speaks of an unspecified addiction that he says has taken from him the child and his wife. He calls them "two of the things I love the most in life."

Jesse has one out of control ego. He thinks because he duped Sandra so effectively, he can tell the media anything (his heart is "broken" and the rest of that crap), and everyone will feel bad for him. Are you kidding me? This guy has as much emotion as a snake.

Sandra and her little one will be a lot better off without the "Vanilla Gorilla". He and John Edwards need to compare notes. Not much difference as far as I can see.

Walk a mans shoes for a mile then you have the right to judge. I know what its like to fight an addiction and its not fun. The regret and the feeling of powerlessness. I have also been a fan of JJ for a long time. He has done alot of thoughtful things out of his OWN pockets to help under privlaged kids right here in DC. And even all the way in Iraq out of his own DIME. I think that he should continue with the therapy and pray to God that his wife can change her mind about the divource. Too many hollywood marrages end in divource and marrage shouldn't be so easy to get out of. Its a commitment before God, better or worse. Unless the spouce is physically or mentally abusing you without remorse, then I understand leaving.

In the light of his behavior, very few people are going to feel sorry for him or take what he says seriously! As demonstrated by comments on this site, for example!

But, if he has some sex-aholic addiction to 'bad girls', he needs to either get treated for it and get over it, or accept it as part of who he is, and avoid marrying anyone in the future who expects him to be faithful!

Otherwise, he's going to cause himself and others a lot of grief, off and on, as time goes on!
