Los Angeles police say "Seinfeld" actor Jason Alexander has struck a 14-year-old bicyclist while driving but the boy wasn't seriously injured.
Police spokeswoman Norma Eisenman says Alexander hit the biker at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Mid-City area.
Eisenman didn't immediately have details about the accident but she says Alexander wasn't cited.
She says the boy suffered minor injuries and was in stable condition when he was taken to a hospital for examination.
Alexander played neurotic neighbor George Costanza on "Seinfeld."
Alexander's publicist, Ron Hofmann, says the actor acted responsibly by waiting for police and paramedics to arrive. He says Alexander is grateful that the boy wasn't seriously hurt.

i wonder what randy quaid and his wife would have done in this situation.
Why do some people get pleasure from the mishaps of other people? A car accident is not fun for the driver or the person who is hit. The legal and insurance problems that result from a car accident are both costly and a hassle. A high profile person such as Jason Alexander is often sued because people think they have money. Finding a comedian funny on TV is one thing, but making jest of people's problems is another. But, as we all know, people can be dissapointing.
