What's Next for Clooney, Lohan, "Idol"?
Could so-called "perma-bachelor" George Clooney be walking down the aisle soon?
Lara Spencer, host of CBS's "The Insider," said it's possible, with plenty of online buzz swirling around his relationship with model and girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

Spencer said he may have proposed. He was photographed this week in Hawaii, where he's currently filming a movie.
Spencer said, "He may have proposed to her, that there may be a wedding this summer, that it will be overseas. So that would indicate maybe his place in Lake Como. She's Italian. She's sexy. She likes motorcycles. I don't know if you've seen the Roberto Cavalli underwear ads. Say no more! He's done."
However, Spencer said Leonardo DiCaprio may also be considering marriage.
"Early Show" co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez said DiCaprio seems more like the marrying kind, but somebody's got to hook Clooney sometime.
Rodriguez added, "Why not her?"
"American Idol" is also hot this week, with Adam Lambert reportedly being considered to take Simon Cowell's place on the show.

But does he have the musical chops for the job?
"Early Show" co-anchor Harry Smith said he'd like to see Elton John or someone with that level of musical experience get the job.
"Adam Lambert is 11 years old," Smith said. "He was here. We have a lot of respect for his talent and everything, but the thing is, you need somebody with some history and experience to be able to say, 'Yes you are' or 'No you're not.'"
But Rodriguez countered that in recent episodes he was seen mentoring contestants and did really well.
Spencer added, "He had some good zinging comments. I mean you can't replace Simon, but...either (Lambert or John) would be a good choice."
Other stars are in the news this week for financial and family issues.
Lindsay Lohan, Spencer said, is reportedly two months behind in her rent and has $600,000 in debt on her credit cards.

"She needs a good movie," Spencer said. "She needs a project that's going to get her on the map."
She's also facing some family issues after her Twitter account lit up with messages about her estranged father arriving at her apartment with a sheriff. Lohan tweeted that the cops showed up at her home to check on the welfare of her 16-year-old sister, Ali, who is staying with her.
Spencer said, "You know, most people would be concerned that officers are at your house. (But) she's tweeting away, letting the story get out in 140 characters or less."
She tweeted all day, Spencer said.
Among those messages Lohan tweeted, "Let's not forget that my father kidnapped me from a courtroom when I was 4, and is crazy. My ex-dad just walked into my apartment, and like the devil's advocate with officers."
Spencer said if she were Lohan she would just lay low.
Lohan's lastest film was "Labor Pains." Spencer said it went straight to TV and then to DVD.
"She's talented," Spencer said. "I just feel like that she's got some stuff going on."
Spencer also commented on her colleague Niecy Nash's run on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars": "Niecy's got (jiggly parts) and she shakes them every Monday. And she's doing really well. I think now she might be a contender. I mean it would be hard to win against (Pussycat Doll member) Nicole Scherzinger."
